  1. They're running again now. Wow, fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing!
  2. I think this story has real possibilities... it could become a cult classic!
  3. We ordered some pictures from Melissa's web site last year and they are awesome! Thanks for sharing Melissa... you're the best!

    Early outs

Even better... he was MVP of the State Tournament and, of course, on the All-Tournament Team. He was a Junior at North that year.

Yes, Fargo North vs GFRR, 2001 State Championship. Walski had something like 75 saves in that one game.
  6. Thanks Chris and Co.! Unbelievable, just awesome... that's what it's all about, baby!
  7. This year pretty much parallels last year. In the beginning both years, some where calling for the coach's head and berating the players. By the end, everyone was lovey-dovey again. Seems the coach and his players and staff know what they're doing... two years in a row!
  8. Anyway... congratulations Jordan!!!
  9. A few weeks back, I spoke to a customer from Alberta. Her family attends most of the Oiler's home games and she said Greene was quickly becoming a crowd favorite.
  10. Was it Hanson that hit Parise on the disallowed goal? They played together at Waterloo.

    PHIL #1

Actually, if my math is correct, shots are pretty equal. Jordan faces about 32 shots per game, Phil about 30.
  12. jloos, your memory is failing you. I remember very clearly reading your opinion of that group of high school players last year in this forum. I remember being mortified, because I know many of these kids and your opinion was not only inflammatory, it was inaccurate. Since I know your cousins, I remember asking my kids if they knew who you were.
  13. I thought the same thing... go back to the same box on the web page and click on the words "View Results" and it should pop up.
  14. Blais admitted it was a mistake to not recruit Grant Potulny. Ryan choose the college where his brother had been successful. Danny Irmen has stated that the Sioux recruitment pitch was basically to show him the REA. While the Sioux did recruit him, it can't be said that they did so aggressively. Danny had pretty much all but signed with MN before UND showed much interest. Of course it would have been fun to have the ND boys on the ND team... but they're not. My guess would be that the players from both teams are happy with their choice of colleges. Sioux fans knows that "our" boys made the best choice! Any college athlete knows the excitement of going home to play against the "hometown" team or against other colleges/coaches who recruited (or should have recruited) that player. Of course they want to make a statement by playing their best game. I would have hoped for a little more maturity and a little less showboating after Danny's goal.
  15. You got it Triouxper!!! Good luck JFR... Go Scarlet Knights!
  16. lol You're awesome HockeyMom! Congratulations JFR! What a great year it's been...
  17. That's too bad -- I was also hoping I had heard incorrectly. From what those at the game have said, it makes sense it was the Achilles... Trotter stood up and then went right back down. Mikejm, that was probably the very white and shiny tendon you saw. Best wishes to young Mr. Trotter for a full recovery!
  18. I was listening to post-game interviews last night and someone (can't remember who) said that Trotter's cut was very deep down to the tendon -- achilles, I think. Was the cut that far back on his leg?

    Walski

Walski was a Junior at North during the 2001 State Championship. He graduated from North in 2002.
