Met this young man last weekend at NDSU's elite camp. Great kid and will be an asset at UND. He has a twin brother. Tall and lean....6-5 or 6-6. Couple of years in the weight room and he will be a good OL player. Kudos to UND....very nice young man.

Yes, passionate fans on both sides. The game will resume eventually but I don't think as long as GT is the AD....but I could be wrong. One thing that Bubba is doing right IMO, is he is going back to old-school football. Run the ball and play good defense. I mentioned this on AGS (darell is a frequent poster over there) that if UND goes back to what it did in the past....run the ball and play good defense, that they would be very successful in the future. Just look at NDSU in the '10 playoffs at Montana State. The Bison pounded them with the run until they folded in the 2nd half. Their coach said they need to get better on both sides of the ball to compete with these kind of teams (NDSU). If UND goes back to that, they will be very successful in the BSC. What say you guys?

If UND was the better team during that season then it is what it is....a loss. Now for some of you that want to talk about the possible game, then lets have at it. Will it eventually get scheduled? IMO, yes but probably after GT is gone. Will it be every year? No, until the teams get into the same conference, the game will probably not be every year. Like I mentioned in my earlier post, most Bison fans like having 6 home games. In an 11 game season, I wouldn't want to play up in GF and lose a home game. In a 12 game season.....sure, schedule the game. Yes, this year was 12 games that could be played but in future years when 12 are permitted, then those would be years to come to GF. Heck, my wife is a UND graduate. But I don't hold that against her...

It is pretty interesting that the only board name calling is 'normal' is on this one. SDSU and UNI fans enjoy good football talk, not this crap that oozes from this board.

Good, I'm glad GT doesn't schedule UND. As a Teammaker and fan, I want to have 6 home games during the regular season. No way taking a home game away to go to Grand Forks, unless it is a season where there are 12 games allowed, then there can still be 6 home games with a traveling game to GF. Although it would be nice to have 7 home games during a 12 game regular season.

You know dang well that Ferris State was a last minute addition when Montana State backed out at the 11th hour Darrell. I saw both Ferris State and UND play this year and the Bulldogs would have beat UND easily.

Scott Van Pelt has had a Bison helmet on his set for most of the season....

Hate to break it to you but the Bison are going to be very good next year also. They will contend for the Valley title and will make the playoffs. Nice try though.

Towson will run all over EWU's #104 ranked defense. Towson's O-line is very good. NDSU/Towson in the NC game.

Caruso would be the perfect fit for UND. No doubt in my mind he would be successful. Hazelton would be good but Caruso just has that leadership quality. St. Thomas has given him the tools he has needed to win. They could easily be a D2 team...probably should be.

Muss has one year left. This is the FCS, money doesn't grow on trees. Muss will finish out his contract.

In all seriousness...he is a great coach. If EWU does the same thing that the Griz and Cats have done, I suspect Muss will definitely feel the heat. No reason UND should be getting beat like this.

Watching film the coaches can see this is where we made the mistakes and now we can correct them. After reading the thread on here about the defense IMO, it is not the scheme it is players not making plays or in the wrong position. The 3-4 is a good defensive scheme but players still need to do their job and make plays. But you have to give credit where credit is deserved: Montana has some very good players and they made plays.

One game does not define a season or a program. Just remember that. NDSU was 3-8 in '09 but lost a lot of close games. Bohl and esp Vigen were not the most popular guys. Is Muss the guy to lead the program to the top of the BSC? We'll see. I'm just really surprised that UND is not a good defensive team. That was their bread and butter in their heyday of D2. I was at the North Alabama playoff game and the Alerus was dang near as loud as the FD for that game. The atmosphere needs to get back to that. Can Muss do this? Muss better get his sh** together cus the faithful FB fans at UND will not accept a crappy product on the field and poor performances. I know I wouldn't as a Bison fan. Great time for a bye week. If JJ plays like he did during the '11 season this game could be a rout for the Grizz. But if UND can spread them out with multiple WR sets, Miller could have a good game. This would be a good game to see. Will the Alerus be full tonight?
