  1. I think USD went out after several transfers where UND went for youth.
  2. Yup, Kent State site confirms it. Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha,. Could not happen to a bigger joke than if it was the big shot at Idaho State who thinks he is so wonderful in cancelling trip to UND. Guess these guys aren't so wonderful afterall. Ha, ha, ha.
  3. Noticed that NDSU is now claiming Jake cuz he stopped there for a cup of coffee!
  4. Right on Bison Dan, worked for NDSU grads and had NDSU grads work for me. All with class and all before the move to D1 when someone, somehow (Chapman?) thought they were all better than everyone else in ND and had to try to prove it by ignoring all the previous protocol and rules that were in place. The guy was/is an egotistic crook, admit it and move on.
  5. NDSU is an embarrassment to the state of ND since Chapman arrived. Now maybe that can be corrected.
  6. Love Ben. Represents UND as an alum as well as anyone. Target with my comment was NDSU folks who think the sun rises and shines on NCAA tourney BB. Milwaukee is a BB hotbed, yet the stands were empty. If the Gophers weren't there the place would have been a morgue. NCAA BB is overrated and over publicized. I enjoy the games where an underdog beats a big time school as much as anyone and was on the edge watching UNI against KU. Loved the outcome, but other than betting on how much snow will fall during the next storm in Philadelphia, college BB is just a passing fancy as are all NCAA sports. People who cannot spell basketball get excited. Not a negative on hockey or anything else. Just reality. Over hyped just like everyother seasonal pastime.
  7. Always thought Aldrich was way overrated. Seldom plays against someone his size. The NBA will be a rude awakening. BTW, how big is this story of a former Sioux now coaching in the Sweet Sixteen? Much bigger story than the Bison doing the one and done thing. Also, did anyone see the 10000 folks disguised as blue empty seats at the Oakland/Pitt game in Milwaukee. Lots of interest in those Summit teams I guess. Lost by what, 25? Had one guy out, but still, really got whupped on. My knees are quivering about getting into the Summit.
  8. Yeah, I think there were 17 people watching Oakland lose to Pitt in Milwaukee the other day on TV while there were 10000 folks disguised as empty blue chairs watching in person.
  9. The only logical addition would be Pitttsburgh.
  10. Hope so. I would attend every game if I lived in the area up there again no matter who they played, but almost 6 hr drive now. Looking forward to some schedule announcements for 2011 and 2012 soon.
  11. Lost the feed right after the hit so did not see the replay, but my initial reaction was that he left his feet and Wehrs head hit the glass. Blow to head not clear, but definitely needed a major penalty. No reason to leave your feet. Stupid, lucky we got away with it. May be more league action after the game.
  12. Looking again at UND home schedule for 2010, really sadder than I thought. Not one game that I would drive up from the Twin Cities to see. Easier to go to Northern Illinois or USD. The Alerus will be short of customers again this year I fear.
  13. The Sioux outshot the Gophers in MSP and last night, what did it prove? Two tough losses. Need to improve the shot quality!
  14. Why is it that the shots are 13-3 Sioux and I feel like we lost the period? Gotta get more quality shots from in front of the net.
  15. If you have Directv the game is on channel 617. Looks like the Gophers want to play physical. Game on!
  16. I will admit, I was not originally in favor of going D1, but if Kup and Thomas had had any kind of vision a lot of UND's issues would now be history. Very frustrating to see especially in view of the modest successes of NDSU and SDSU. UND had equal or better programs before those schools moved up and now BB is in shambles. Looking forward to 2013 and beyond. Hope I am still on this side of the grass to see it.
  17. Sioux look exhausted. Don't breathe on Cepis, he cannot stand up by himself.
  18. I do not like the way this game is flowing. Sioux seem snakebit and the Gophers are playing good position hockey and getting too many decent shots. Eids is playing well and he will need to.
  19. These guys are normally terrible, but tonite they have set a low point standard, Gawd, to think we will have at least two nites of this garbage broadcast. GOAL! Malone. WUUUUUNderfulllll.
  20. Congratulations to Andrew. There are two Med schools in Wisconsin, MCW and UW Madison, and he will need this and a lot more to pay for either one. Good luck Andrew.
  21. Gopher game delayed broadcast due to Wild on FSN.
  22. Rude Bison fans? Now that is a new one!!! Should have been at some of the old Sioux/Bison football games or one of the homecoming parades back when they played each other. That was rude. Sioux fans on Gophers back in the old winter sports arena before Englestad I, now that was rude. Flimsy chicken wire between the students and Mariucci's prima donnas.
  23. Keep in mind that re UND Gene may a bit paranoid. The Bison record against UND since he became AD is 0-3. He obviously thinks he has little to gain personally by playing UND and if he can get enough mileage out of Bohl he can move on to a bigger AD job. It is strictly a personal political move with no regard for the state of ND and the two universities.
  24. Not only would NDSU profit, but a lot of local businesses would have far more traffic from Sioux fans coming in than any distant or even close FCS school. Same applies in GF. Cannot understand why the local businesses, hotels, restaurants, and bars would not start making some noise to renew this on a regular basis alternating sites. I guess the economies in Fgo and Gf are already so strong they do not need any more business. If I owned a bar or restaurant up there I would be campaigning for the games to be played just to help both cities economy.
  25. Boy, I sure hope that Fargo does not flood again this spring. Just think if it does all those Bison turds floating north to clog all the drainage ditches and sewer covers that might cause added flooding to the RR north of Fargo. Hey, I just had a revelation, use those B turds instead of sandbags. That would save the day in Fargo for sure! But if they didn't, who would care? A city trying to be big league that is a joke on the national radar.
