Has anyone ever seen Kelley or Faison wear the logo? Faison's hockey seats are right by mine and it is interlocking ND all the way for him. I check every game.
-
Clifford was the right man for the job and did it well/great for a long time. Kelley is a bad hire(Said it when it happened) but I think you eliminate so many great candidates by saying UND tied only associated people. I have as much pride in the school as anyone else, I just want the Best people on campus.

I disagree. If you only have one common view, you cannot improve or grow. That would hinder the university as a whole. Education is in part an exchange of ideas and thoughts, if we are all taught from the same single source, that is faith in the source, not knowledge. .

Time to just watch football and DRINK!

+1 for you sir! -
I am sorry Goon. At least there is a little drop of heaven in every bag. Or is that bottle of Bud Light?
-
Not out of the small bag. That is what got me thinking good things. Usually one in every Medium or Large bag is a solid chocolate.
-
FANTASITC NEWS!! I had my usual bag of Peanut M&Ms with lunch today. I got the magical green peanut M&M that was solid chocolate. It can only mean good things.

One could argue that we would not have the Ben Blood we rely on today if we didn't tough it out through his freshman campaign that ended with a SOLID F5. That went right into a good sophomore year and what has been a shut down Junior year so far. Both players are of the same skill sets and but Forbort may have a little more Offenseive upsaide.

Peters left right before thanksgiving. Following that Bryan Shawn left shortly before Christmas. I look forward to Hammer being back on TV and i can pull out my Dan's Fan's T shirt! Who calls NDSU's FB TV broadcast? Perhaps that will be his new role as well next fall? I will sure miss him calling sioux games, but maybe KVLY is planning on airing all bison home games next year.
-
Agreed. But we need to remember that there are 4 football classes and 1 Hockey class. It includes many communities that don't even have indoor ice. I think as a whole UND hockey is the most followed program in the state. It is the most available near and far with the TV deals. NDSU FB doesn't even get the 6 home games a year televised locally. I live in Fargo but I attend every home hockey game. I would guess on the average traffic to and from I am part of thousands that do. I will occasionally go to a bison football game but I admit last year in the 3-10 year I didn't follow the games or story lines. As a casual fan I could care less about BB. I am more likely to follow the water polo team. I agreed with the earlier post. I follow successful teams and I will cheer for what is good for ND. I cheered for the Bison in WA, I cheered for the Sioux in AL in the early 2000's.

Can someone help me? HOw come Wisco is # 8 in PWR but wasn't the win on Sat against Duluth their first against a rated team?
-
We may need to send Trupp after him. Give him the ND is the greatest speech with talk about how similar it is to AK, excluding the mountains.
-
I don't disagree. and now because of all the problems this would cause they have a reason to make an effort at it, and have an excuse for failiure.

Legislature only convenes every other year. Two years ago they were hoping things would run the course of the tribes voting. Al isn't "pushing" this, he is only assigining the drafted bills to comittee for discussion as he is required with all bills. He even says, he is not as passonate about it as others.
-
I would say a healthy scratch. He was walking in the hall and had no limp as i could tell so i would rule out "lower body injury." He has been playing hard lately, I think that Hakstol is just playing with lines right now to see what kind of options he has for later in the season. The lines on the ice have been able to get the job done and so he is a bit more comfortable expirementing as long as he is getting W's. The thing is IMO it made us a one line team last night. Once again, PE has to bail us out.
-
Knight played very well tonight. If he could have gotten one of the bounces he desereved he would definately have been a star of the game.
-
This sounds like the glow puck from the NHL all over again. People HATED that thing.
-
Most Underrated: Evan Trupp. He has been rediculous on the PK. Strong forecheck and has been a great help to Fratts in always trying to give a pass option to help set up some of the even strength goals. He just flys every shift.
-
This also speaks to the parity in college hockey that makes it more difficult now that for Gino and much lesser Blais. US juniors and just better players all around make it possible for any team (Holy Cross) to have a moment that knocks a 1 seed on their butts. There are a lot of teams out there that are a lot better than ever before. You do not see the same routes and beatings like you used to. Occasionally yes, not consistently where we all pound team X. Who would have ever thought back then that Miami would be a perennial power to deal with?

I noticed in the Goopher pregame on Friday night that Lapanta and Chorsky were infront of the RUNNER UP banners they hang!
-
Thanks for the heads up. I was in the cities for work tonight and I really enjoyed it and met a couple of great people. Sioux W always makes it better, along with the flying buffalo chicken sandwich that was awesome! Go Sioux!!
-
This made me laugh as i just read the thread now and these comments are why you love the rivaly. Its a great back and forth for all. I will be at the game in Sioux gear and i hate basketball.

He said "my head is still a bit cloudy. I should start skating again next week but we will see what it does." No specific mention of concusion.
-
I wouldn't be suprised either. I was suprised by how short Gregoire is though. I spoke breifly with him in the hall last night and he is NOT a large person. He did say that he was going to try and start skating again this week if his head clears. He also said he was wishing he could have been out there to get some of those points. Hopefully we have him back in Mankato.
