I agree. Anytime a helmet comes off, they blow the whistle immediately. Too bad they tend to swallow the whistle when there is a high stick or someone gets crunched into the boards.

I was thinking the same thing when Woog said it. He just has a problem with teams that used to kick his butt around when he coached, and these teams had canadians on their teams.

thought it was funny when Mazzocoo asked Woog about Lucia recruiting Canadians. Woog grumbled quite a bit about it.

The sweep this weekend was very big. Even though MTU is last in the WCHA, it is always good to go on to the road and take four points. It really shuts up some people who keep complaining about our unbalanced home/road schedule (Mazzocco and Woog).

There is no doubt Roche has the skills to play in the NHL. I agree with sprig on the fact that the wild play such a defensive style and Lemaire doesn't like dmen who like to jump up on the play and take chances. There are plenty of teams around the league who actually let their defensemen take some chances, and some of these teams even score more than two goals a game, unlike the Wild. I hope Roche finds a team where he fits in and uses his experiences with Minnesota and their organization to work a little harder and crack a lineup elsewhere.

I use Midco high speed internet also and have had buffering issues during a few games, but is has gotten way better.

The Mavericks can't get anything really going in the game. The Gophers are a very hot team right now

I think that is what separates UND from a lot of other teams. Even when we win, and win by four goals at that, our coaching staff is never just "satisfied" with winning. They always are looking for ways to improve this team. A credit to Blais and the staff.

Blais sounds disappointed in our defensive play tonight, along with our undisciplined play in the first couple of periods.
