Counter toss will only work if the linemen can block for it. That hasn't been shown today and the linebackers are just having a field day against the run.
So for recruiting we need line depth? Do we have any of that incoming?
We also need a quality QB to take that obvious backup role and eventually take over. Do we have that?
And we need a vertical threat on the outside? Any chance of one of those?
Holy crap offense. Talk about crapping the bed. The defense does their job and you come back with a 3 and out? Running an off-tackle run, not even a draw, on a 3rd and 10?
This is the game that UND needed QB play to actually be solid. NAU just gunning for the run. Instead Studsrud can barely hit the broad side of a barn most the game.
