Yeah I don’t know if I agree with having a team of transfers. Definitely need to take advantage of positions of need though (go get the next Clive Georges).
Sanford has made a pretty big donation to the other 3 Dakota schools right? Could that be a possibility in the future with Sanford finally coming to GF?
I don’t know how any team in the summit is going to compete with SDSU. My goodness are they good. NDSU may have a shot but after that I think they roll.
FWIW, many of the staff follow him on Twitter. Could be from previously recruiting him. Sounds like he had some FBS offers, also was injured most of his senior year so that may have set him back.
I am a Tommy backer and always will be but I still hope the coaches don’t just hand him the job next fall. Let him battle it out with Trey. Iron sharpens iron.
A couple good non-conference wins that I wouldn’t have necessarily expected after Mayville. Today’s loss was pretty disappointing as I thought it was a win before the season started but I understand 3 games in 3 days.
I get we have 1 road win so far but in all honesty I wouldn’t say we have played poor on the road. We have done a poor job at closing games that’s for sure. We did play poor at USD and I guess the 4th qtr at Utah State but I’m throwing that game out.
I always get confused with basketball what thread to post recruits in. Isaac Bruns a 2023 guard has to be one of our top priorities. He recently took a visit here and to NDSU…..
I ordered a replica one immediately before seeing the picture posted here. Hoping it looks better in person, otherwise mine will be going back to the store.
You could tell Bruns lost a lot of confidence when he got blocked on his fastbreak. I wouldn’t say he didn’t anything that was too costly but then once he was able to see a couple fall when he went to the foul line you could see his confidence pickup.
