  1. UND has now won 5 games in a row, including 3 on the road. Impressive stuff. There really has been more of a buy-in on hounding my the glass, led by Amar but everyone seems to be attacking. Now we host the team to the south, the Bison. UND has not beat them since 1/16/2021, time to change that. The games between that win have never been close with an average margin of defeat of 18.5 points.

NDSU has struggled this year but Dave Richman always gets his guys going in time for the Summit League tournament. Was last nights win over SDSU in Brookings the turning point? Not sure but UND has an opportunity to knock them back a peg again.

NDSU is led by #14 Boden Skunberg averaging 15ppg, 5.5rpg and 2apg. Bison fans get extremely frustrated with him trying to play hero ball. The two players that concern me the most are #10 Damari Wheeler-Thomas, averaging 12.6ppg, 2.8apg and 2.6rpg, and #23 Andrew Morgan, averaging 11.5ppg. Need Amar and T to lockdown down low with Morgan and freshman #34 Noah Feddersen.

KenPom has UND winning this one 76-72. BartTorvik says 75-72 and Vegas doesn’t have lines yet.

If you can, please come to the game. Let’s create an awesome atmosphere for a team playing some great ball right now. Red Panda is performing at halftime too! For those that can’t make it, catch it on Summit League Network.

Ho Ho Ho 5 in a row dips@&$#s

I will take being called a dipshit. I am a dipshit often. I react in the moment too much. Super glad Sather is having success right now. Hope he can have continued success for a long time here.

    Team looked great.

    Tyree looked really good.

For Omot, coaching at this level is a tough tough gig with the portal and NIL.

Anyone, who sticks their head aboce sea level gets paid and is gone.

We would have won a LOT more games w Filip R.

Yeah the way Omot’s playing now, I’d be pretty surprised if we can keep him. Gotta live in the present though and enjoy every moment. Maybe he just loves play with his buddies!

Interesting that Bruns was summit freshman of the year for us and doesn’t start for a worse USD team 2 years later??  He regress?

    Yes. He was benched recently.

Not a needed position for next year but someone I like is Tameron Ferguson from St Cloud Tech HS. 6’2” guard. Leads state of Minnesota with 35 ppg. Only offer is from MSUM but starting to hear from several D1s.

Just watched a single games highlight and I’m in.

If Joe Hurlburt actually does get into the portal I know if you're UND you probably have to take him, but I've never been super impressed with him.

I really haven’t watched much of him but know he was super hyped coming out. Gotta be better than Chad Calcaterra, if people remember him. Went to Colorado State, transferred here and that guy stunk! I remember hooping with him at choice one time and we toasted him and trust me, I’m not that good haha.

  7. So next year, we have 1 scholarship for sure with Brady and T leaving but I believe Bothun is taking one of those scholarships. The way the college basketball world is right now, I’d bet we have at least 3 scholarships open. Dream scenario is well first keep your core (BJ, Tyree, Trey, Amar and King), then go get a transfer big (Joe Hurlburt? Maybe someone more established though) and a 3 and D transfer, if we would have landed Jamar Brown last year, that would have been huge). After that, go after a high upside high school kid that would hopefully redshirt. Easy enough, right?

This is a game I expect us to win and honestly a game we should win pretty handedly.

USD is not very good. At all.

They have flashes. Need Amar to handle Lahat Thioune. I think we are the better team but winning on the road is never a given.
