Yes and yes. His brother Gus is at Northwestern but I believe he’s there more for school than ball.

That’s my question. I know he was pretty highly recruited out of high school but I’m not positive if he’s good or not. Never saw him play in college and was always surprised that when he was at Enderlin they weren’t able to do more.

Maybe BJ just isn’t sharing with media outlets, which I respect, but I find it interesting we haven’t heard a word about who’s reaching out to him.

Could be some interest with Bentiu on staff. Super athlete kind of like Sem to be honest. Not sure he’s much of a shooter though.

Mara and Mayer are the two players that didn’t contribute in the 2nd half that we should be looking to make a step up. I think all the other contributors for next year, besides Eli, Trey and Amar, are not currently on the roster.

Eli can fill in in a pinch but he shouldn’t be our primary point guard. He improved immensely throughout the year but not at being a PG, at everything else. I will be quite disappointed if we don’t fill the starting PG role through the portal.

Most kids dream of playing BBall with the big schools. Hard to come down on a kid who chooses to move up a level even if it doesn’t work out. He had the chance to play at the highest level and visit some pretty “historic” bball schools.
I guess when I say terrible decision I’m saying choosing Virginia. He could have made a much better decision that fit his game better. Virginia wasn’t it.

I think Rohde made a terrible decision. Think he would have had a much more enjoyable season at UST. Now, the money is a huge thing so I don’t blame him I just don’t know how he landed on Virginia. Guys a stud, wish he would have landed somewhere else.

Rebraca was successful but was on record saying he didn’t plan on transferring but had to.
Igbaunago meh his time was over here. Averaged more here anyways but let’s not act like we were hurt by him leaving.
Tyree come on he asked to come back. Couldn’t find success with JMU. Maybe due to injury but either way.
Bruns got to go home, cool. Not much winning happening there and would say his freshman year was his best year, likely due to volume since we sucked.

Not sure if anyone else listens to 3 Man Weave but I think they have a great idea when it comes to MM players transferring to P6 schools. If BJ ends up at Minnesota, Minnesota would have to play in GF this year. A sort of trade off. Never going to happen, but I like it.

So with BJ in the portal, do we turn to Brody Fox? I don’t think he can just replace BJ but would play a similar role. Doubt he offers the defensive versatility that BJ did. Never seen the kid play so basing this off stats and some highlights.
