SFI has tweeted tonight that they are hearing at least 2 more preferred walk-ons from ND. https://twitter.com/#!/SiouxFootball
-
That's what I took it to mean... getting the grades up this semester for some.

He must've been here sometime this fall. This Scout interview from Nov. 7 said he had already visited UND. http://army.scout.com/2/1126076.html

Also, looks like Dodge Center, MN DB/Athlete Adam Bungum will be making his decision soon, if he hasn't already. Was down to Army & UND, along w/ a preferred walk-on at Minnesota. http://footballrecru...asp?CID=1321699 http://rivals.yahoo....m-Bungum-124205

It looks like Anthony Hill, DB from Champlin Park, MN is still uncommitted as of now. Said to have offers from UND & SDSU at one point. http://www.gopherhole.com/news_article/show/129389?referrer_id=334819 http://minnesotapreps.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1324154

Exactly. Plus, it's great to give Mollberg & Bartels some weapons at WR to work with throughout their entire playing careers.

Said Lauer did receive an offer but not sure if he'll attend next fall or take a gray-shirt. Kill certainly is doing a much better job than Brew at getting the in-state talent whether it's full rides, gray-shirts or prefered walk-ons.

SFI just tweeted that Kevin Bayer, a Fullback from IL, verballed.
-
http://nebraska.scou...%2f1148995.html DT Dylan Utter will walk-on at Nebraska. Had offer from UND.
-
http://minnesota.scout.com/2/1148793.html Duke Anyanwu received an offer from Minnesota & committed over the weekend.

After reading the link again this morning, I realized it was released back in Aug. I'm guessing the writer meant he was offered a scholarship to UND. But, looks like Taylor did visit on Dec 8th. http://www.mysuburba...ruiting-on-hold I haven't found anything online about an actual verbal, so I'll just wait to see if the SFI crew announces it soon. Very well could be Taylor who they were referring to as the WR commit.
-
Looks like that WR & commit #8 could be Anthony Taylor from Lombard (Montini) IL. http://www.montini.o...all_players.pdf

http://www.bemidjipi...group/homepage/ Just kinda thought the quote from his HS coach was interesting.... Might imply there is an effort issue sometimes, might not. Oh well, water under the bridge like UND-1 said.

Posted on Scout, WR Marquis Bundy has verballed to Montana. Had offer from UND. http://recruiting.scout.com/2/1138387.html

Is this the Potato Bowl game? If so, better than a lot of the dogs we have played in years past for Potato Bowl.
-
Neuheisel will still coach on Friday against the Ducks. IF, by some miracle, UCLA beat Oregon to go to the Rose Bowl, O-Coordinator Mike Johnson would take over for the bowl game.
-
Good win... But better practice those free throws, fellas.

I'd love to see the series w/ USD continue but not sure that it's possible for the next few years. I've heard from some people "in the know" at UND that there might be a little more bad blood between the 2 athletic depts than most fans realize, due to the backing out of the Big Sky deal. I'm not trying to throw USD under the bus, they did what was best for their programs, just saying it might be a few years before we see UND & USD compete again.

I'll go out on a limb & say that MN, Wisc & Iowa already have their 2012 schedules set, probably have for quite some time. Most teams do at this point. I don't want to see Mines on the schedule either but it will be difficult now to find a quality opponent that is still available in week 1.

Still 7-7... 3:50 left in the 3rd. Sioux getting ball back.

Bradley to McGill TD 42 - 6

I remember from the live chat on signing day that the defensive coaches said Daryl Brown was someone that they were expecting big things from next year. I believe he was ranked as the top corner in MN when he came from Wayzata last year.
