No, actually we gave up 65 points last week and lost by 34 on the road to Stephen F. Austin. Not really on a roll. Welcome back for game week, yotes fans. I look forward to the game on Saturday. Hopefully the trend of UND having USD's number will continue, although I know it will be a tough game like always. Looking to go 13 of our last 14 against USD since 1996. By the way, how was the crowd for your game last week against Southeastern Louisiana?

Totally fricking agree 100%. It's going to be a long haul, and we will continue to gradually get better over this season and the next couple of years. It will be fun to watch us transform into a full-fledged FCS team. Even after tonight's awful loss, I am still excited about the future.

Disappointing loss? Yes, absolutely. Especially in the way in which we lost. Our team weaknesses were exposed tonight against a superior FCS opponent. I just hope our team learns from it and uses it for the rest of the season. We are so young and inexperienced right now and it showed tonight. Still a lot of season left though. We need a good showing next week from the team and our fans at the Alerus against a good USD team for homecoming.

I had problems as well. No video at all, and audio was failing towards the end of the broadcast. This is poor service and a lot of people are paying for a membership, myself included. This has been a problem for a few years now. Time for the athletic department to either figure out what they have, or cut their losses and go in another direction. SIOUXtra service has been unacceptable. If you are unhappy as well, I suggest we try get this problem fixed by contacting the appropriate people at the athletic department.

IMO, you don't take points off the board in that situation. Nothing is guaranteed if you take the penalty except for a 1st down and 1 more play.

Because I didn't think Northern Illinois was that good. Purdue was a two TD favorite and looked very good last week in Eugene, OR. Just my opinion, but I think that's a big upset. You obviously don't think it was. EDIT: Anytime a MAC team beats a decent Big 10 team, I think it is an upset. Just like the Central Michigan/Michigan State game last week. Purdue and Michigan State were both heavy favorites for both games.

I will be interested to see if the policies and philosophies of Brand will be continued when a new President is named. I hope not, but I tend to think they will. Why have someone who has absolutely zero experience in athletics run an organization that was founded on athletics? I did not know that was the case with Brand until last night.

You have got to be kidding me. How and why would this happen? Do they know Bismarck is in the center of North Dakota? Someone please explain this to me, I'm all ears.

UPDATE FINAL: Montana - 17 UC Davis - 10 Had a chance to watch this game on TV and UC Davis really squandered away many opportunities in this game. They are talented and could have easily won this game. Their QB (Denham) returns again from last year. He threw the ball 65 times tonight. They also have a stud WR in Chris Carter who I believe caught around 16 passes tonight. We are gonna have our hands full with this team in Davis, CA again this year.
