I'm glad someone started this thread, I needed to rationalize Saturday's loss somehow

I didn't vote, I think all WCHA refs range from awful to barely competent. If I were a player in this league, I'd be thinking about jumping ship to the major juniors...

From that snapshot, it looks like a one-sided fight. With Hale's strength & Clymer's boxed-in positioning along the boards, Hale might have had the upper hand. Maybe that poster from NJ can give us her impressions; there's also a link to an online NJ newspaper somewhere on this board...Burns wanted more of this from his rookies & it looks like he got it...That Hale sure is a natural fighter...

If it projects a violent image that would offend 1000s, I say go for it--bring more attention to the school, ESPN will do a special on it, high school all-stars will see this coverage & want to be associated with a bad-boy school, bingo, Sioux recruiting made easy...

With all my ranting, I forgot to thank sprig & GBPakrzz for posting regular updates & giving all us Helen Kellers a good sense of the game. Appreciate it, guys, you delivered tonight & the Sioux team did not...

How about a poll for the nonexistent PP? With all the talent on the Sioux team, you'd think they would do better than -1 goal(s) in 3 games. Goaltending's the least of our problems, at least for now anyway...

This loss wouldn't sting so much if the Sioux at least hustled for 60 minutes & converted on ONE PP. Geez, they should be pumped, throttled, jacked & psyched to play the #1 team in the country. BC's good & maybe that's a reason, but I didn't sense that people who saw the game thought the Sioux were very passionate in their performance. No passion, untimely mistakes & penalties, horrible on the PP. Hope the Sioux weren't content with a split & hopefully they learn something from this. I want my 2 1/2 hours back...
