We don't look any different than we did the last game. We aren't spending any time in DU's zone and we're giving up shots on the short hand. IMO, there is very little one could say as an excuse for a single shot on goal. Thomas sits. Fabian appears hurt.

No, the goal was beautiful and partially assisted by UND. Last night we were pretty good at clearing the goal mouth. Gauthier scored because he was given the front of the net on a platter.

Speaking for myself, I don't feel that it is an attendance issue that I have a problem with it being at the XCel. It's not a venue issue either (though I haven't exactly been inside of the X yet). It is an issue with the location just being minutes from a major WCHA university year in and year out that holds a tremendous advantage to the Universirty in such a means that there is no travel, no time adjustment (CC, DU, UAA should they ever make it), and a home ice feel. UND fans will travel. We see that when we visit nearly every single venue in the WCHA and even elsewhere (my friends attneded the Maine series early this year all the way from Chicago), but I think it would be more fair, so to speak, if the venue changed every so often. Even if it is just between Milwaukee and back. I don't know if that makes sense, but that's what I think.

I thought we did pressure the net very well last night, but we didn't dictate play. THat's why our D was the star of the game. Jordy was really tested. Something that, some could argue, didn't happen so much against UMD. In any case, and more seriously, what's the deal with Prpich? Is he going to play today? If not, will it be Bina taking the spot on the 4th line and Radke playing D?
