That is correct, we are playing TT this year. We count for FBS teams starting in 2010 so by playing them this year we are doing it one year earlier in the transition. Which means one more paycheck than we should have gotten during this transition. I would think that our AD leveraged his friendship with the TT AD to get this game since we do not count. That is true because odds are there will never be a team as bad as that 07 Gophers team in the history of the Big Ten. So UND will never get that chance, that one chance to play arguably the worst team in Big Ten History.

OK Hockey fans, we all know what you think of the Summit League. You think it sucks and the nickname is way more important that finding a conference for the majority of our teams. My guess is that it will be announced tomorrow that the Board voted to remove the name and the process will be set in place over the next school year. 2010 will be the first year as "The University of North Dakota". I agree. Good work by the AD and his staff to try and spice up the Spring Game, which can tend to be boring. I am hoping they play some music off and on to liven it up during the game too.
