    UND1983 replied to AJS's topic in Women's Hockey

    A little tidbit I came across: UND had the only Swimming and Diving program in the state of North Dakota. The twins like to point out how UND had the only Women's Hockey program in North Dakota. Well, you got company. And there are a hell of a lot more swimmers than girls hockey players at the high school level in ND. Who are the swimmers going to look up to?

    Listening to the women's players interviewed on MacTalk is mind blowing. They are the single most delusional program in UND history. Anybody who listened to that interview would probably think they are Minnesota or Wisconsin. They are currently waiting on a number to save their program. They know the number, we all know the number. But, they are apparently waiting to hear it confirmed.

    The players keep referencing Olympians over and over. At what point does having Olympians on the roster actually do something for the UND program? They love to reference it to justify their 1.9 million dollars in losses but......

    At this point I honestly, and I mean this, want a WH supporter to come on here and tell me why it shouldn't have been cut. Why it was the wrong decision. We have been piling on hard about why it should be cut. Somebody tell me the other side. I find myself feeling myopic about it and thinking there is another side. I don't know.

    Did you guys know that there was a recruit on campus when this went down? Just heard that. For the 385th time. When you have nothing else to backup your gripe, resort to something inconsequential that had nothing to do with the actual happening.
