When people refer to making it over the hump, to me that means the program has finally made it over the hump. They become a top program in their conference and have sustained success.
Not riding Hooker to an NCAA tourney berth and then going right back down to the cellar.
Thursday for many of the Forum guys. Almost like I know something isn't it? Almost...nah...I am making it up.
You're right, media members don't talk amongst themselves at the field or over dinner and drinks.
Can you imagine how many thousands of clicks that would have generated for their respective site if they had broke it? For some of those guys it would have been huge.
He is one guy. ONE. There were around 12-15 total between Forum, KFGO, FAN, 1100, 1660, KVLY, and KVRR that kept it under wraps. That's a bit much. They all talk to each other at these things.
So how do you explain all of the media members being in on the "strategic protection of a players status"? They don't work for NDSU, correct? But yet not one of them went rogue and tweeted it out....hmmm.
Nothing I have stated is rumor or innuendo. The only thing left to clarify is the Roehl part and I highly doubt that will ever be definitively figured out. At least not publically, although, if Robbins doesn't get that year back his family may become a bit squeaky.
If its prescription Adderrall then all he had to do was submit his prescription. Real easy process.
But back to your convoluted point, we have been bitching about the process of how it WASN'T reported by any of the 12-15 media members that were down in Frisco when they all knew it about during the 2-3 day leadup to the game. A kid getting dinged by the NCAA is meh, whatever. Happens all the time.
But for the Fargo media to purposely hide it for NDSU's benefit is the issue here.
So you are saying they colluded to keep it amongst themselves. There were no less than 15 media members there from Fargo and not one said a word.
That speaks volumes about their cozy relationship with NDSU.
This wasn't an injury. It was a NCAA testing failure. "Insider info"....lol
What's also funny is that every single reporter chose to not report it. That's either mandated by NDSU or collusion amongst themselves.
Funny how we knew about all the FBS suspensions before the semifinals and finals that were for the exact same thing.
More wondering how all the media that were down in Frisco orchestrated it to where not one of them reported it. They all knew mid-week, we know that much. But not a word.....
