I was reading the board over at EagleAction.com and they said that the BC athletics page already has us as going to the Colorado regional. Its on the main page in the audio box.... This doesn't make any sense at all? Everyone over there is confused also.

I love to read POI when someone signs with he Sioux and they have had discussions on that person at POI. It's happened with the last two Sioux recruits Lee and Spirko. You'll get respones like, Lucia probably thinks someone is better. Then they'll tell you how the Gophers lost interest. P.S. That doesn't pertain to all Gopher fans.....

I couldn't agree more. Looking at the roster the next couple of years, landing Spirko was HUGE!!! Spirko was getting a lot of attention and as the quote I put above, we can expect big things from him. I'm sold that Kaip will be good (better than Prpich) and Zajac will be a superstar. I'll throw Radke in the mix as someone who should be able to step in right away and lead the Sioux in a couple of years. Without Spirko, this class was Top 10 material. Lamoureux will be one of the top incoming freshman goalies, Zajac should be a top 3 forward in the nation and Radke should be top 10 d-man. Then you throw in Spirko who is also a top 10 forward. Question: What freshman class do you think will be better??? 03' or 04' My opinion is the 04 will be better for this reason: Offense This years freshman classes offensive numbers are outstanding. I don't think there is anyway that next years class catches up for this reason. If everyone stays, players like Zajac and Spirko will maybe crack the second line(I see Zajac filling in for Lundbohm). Spirko should be able to play regularely though (it would be fun to see him with Fylling and Genoway). If Blais says that Kaip is better than Prpich, he is probably going to be good, but basically there will be no room at all. Defense Smaby has been disappointing this year. Yes, I know he's young, but he always makes me nervous when he's out. Bina has really impressed me, he's always in the right place and doesn't get burned very often. Radke is supposed to be the point man that UND wants on the PP. He was first team all AJHL last year and is tearing that league up again. Beaverson is supposed to be a pretty high draft pick (around 90 last year if he would have opted in). Should be solid, but I don't see Beaverson playing regularly if everyone stays. Goalie From the people I've talked to lamoureux is said to be better than all the goalies we have this year! He should get his fair share of chances next year. UND won't have a problem the next few years in net. Overall Although I don't expect any of the freshman next year to have the impact of Murray, top to bottom I don't see there being too many freshman classes better. UND's 04' Class will be Top 3 in the Nation II years in a ROW!!!!!

Lee was the best player I saw at the tournament tonight. He can do everything, he's as solid as they come!!!! He's going to be a fixture his freshman year at UND!!!!!

It looks like Zajac is starting to run away with the points lead in the BCHL. He now has 105 points in 53 games!!!!!!!!

no, here's why, they have an easy remaining schedule left. The Sioux could play their worst hockey of the year and still beat MSU-M. UMD is tough and could sweep the Sioux, but MT won't do anything and the Sioux will sweep them...... ----------------------------------------- What does that mean? They finish #2 in the WCHA(tied for 4th last year). They still get a #1 seed for the NCAA tournament(got a #3 seed last year). I'm not worried yet, if they lose to MSU-M, then I'll start to worry.

I've been posting on the Minnesota H.S. Hockey Message Board for a couple days, asking if anyone has info. on recruits like Ammerman and Hardwick. The people have a great knowledge of the players, whom many know personally. Warroad11, posted this: Rumor in town has it that hes made his mind up but hasn't said to where. I'm guessing you will see him at UND. UMD got his brother but with Oshie going to UND and some of the other kids going there I do believe it will be UND. I do think you can take the U of M out of the running for him though

Phil Lamoureux is coming in next year and I've talked to people that have played against him in the USHL who think he'll take the #1 job next year. The Sioux goaltending should be solid for 4 years!

This was posted on a Minnesota HS Hockey board to my question regarding which school will land Hardwick....I KNOW THIS MEANS NOTHING(He's just guessing), but I thought it was interesting.... "Well like you said I've heard all 3 schools in the running, I've heard alot of different rumors and all I truely know is that him and Oshie are good friends so I would guess you will see him in the UND colors holding up that blue line"

Looking at the remaining schedule, I'm probably going to cheer for the Bulldogs, because they have a tougher remaining schedule than the Sioux. Plus, I really dont think I could cheer for the Gophers.
