I kind of hope that Spirko stays another year in the USHL. UND won't lose a lot this year and they already have Zajac and Kaip who should step in. After next year the Sioux will lose a lot of talent. It would be nice to have a freshman class with forwards like Duncan and Spirko already signed!! Also, I'm really excited that the Gophers didn't sign Bertram!!

I really, really like UND's road to the Frozen Four! They get to play the worst team that made it into the NCAA's, then they get a game against either a team that is basically at home, but isn't even close to the talent as UND. Plus with Conner James out, UND should be heavy favorites. My Predictions: UND 8 Holy Cross 0 Denver 4 Miami 3 UND 5 Denver 2 GO SIOUX!

I really like the balanced schedule. Another question, I know for sure that Maine is playing in Grand Forks 2 years from now, is BC/UND going to keep playing each other for years to come, or was that just a 2 year thing.

That was taken from the All State Team(1st team). Doese anyone know what colleges are looking at him. Heisenberg has him highly ranked(I know there not official). He seems to be the real deal. I haven't heard anything on him and he looks to be a solid player to any teams 05' squad.

There has been a discussion over on POI about the Hobey Baker. It turned into a who is the better candidate between Bochenski and Parise. Looking at the numbers, they are basically the same with Bochenski holding a slight lead in the ppg catagory (1.43 to 1.42). Most people feel Parise is the better candidate. I'll agree, for a couple reasons. Parise in the college hockey world might be the player who most of the fans have heard of (don't know how to put that). He's gotten press from major newspapers and magazines. He was the MVP of the World 20 and unders!!!! He is also the best two way player in the nation! Questions: Will getting the MVP at the World Juniors have any affect (for the better) on his chances for Hobey? Also, do you see both of them in the Hobey Hattrick? Also, if you see them both getting in the final 3(I dont), do you think that hurts there chances of getting the hobey?

It's tough to decide, I want each team to win for different reasons. Gophers A Sioux/Gopher final would have an outstanding atmosphere! This actually might be the reason why I secretly cheer for the Gophers, I want an electric atmosphere Saturday night! Bulldogs I don't mind them as much, plus if they win then they get the #1 seed. Basically, it probably won't matter, because my money would be on them playing to get into the Frozen Four. P.S. When I hear them do M.I.N.N.E.S.O.T.A for the first time, all my support will go towards the Bulldogs......that is the most annoying chant EVER!

Zajac is leading the BCHL in points per game with 2.3 in the playoffs!!!! He has 4 goals and 5 assists in 4 games! I think Spirko finished with 51 points in 51 games! Question: How many points did Zajac score this year? How many points did Murray score last year? I think Zajac had more, not sure though?
