My guess, we're bringing in Heil and a portal tendy and Hobie doesn't want the uncertainty. Same can be said for Juby. We're bringing in Laurilla and Zmolek is coming back. Probably doesn't see a lot of opportunity for ice.

He's the spark UND hockey needs right now. Getting him would be a very big deal.

Honestly, I'm not sure. GMs aren't common in college hockey, but they are at big-time college football schools. I don't know how the distinction would work. I personally see it as a unique position that's not an assistant. Those are problems for those smarter than I to figure out. I just want Chyzyk to be the our main recruiter of talent.

Yep. I said it before, but what I think/want will happen is Chyz signed as GM, KG moves on to the NHL, Simmer stays, Jax hires St. Clair and one more assistant with good experience.

Chyz is so well connected and I'd be willing to bet he knows guys, for sure. He's been prepping for the USHL draft. He knows the guys that are gonna be the studs.

My wants, hopes for next steps... My guess/hopes.... KG to the NHL, Keep simmer and bring in St. Clair. Add one more seasoned assistant. FIRST HIRE... Chyz in as a GM. Would be that huge flex that gets people talking about UND instantly. Makes UND feel more NHL-like to recruits.

He's also one of the worst "impact" forwards at even strength we've had in years. Look at his stats 5 on 5 in his two seasons. Pretty wild. He's got work to do. Has the skill, but not sure he has that extra level of "want to"

Lol so if you hate to state the obvious, why did you? That was legitimately my point. UND fired Bubs because he didn't get it done. Not some additional story many seem to be begging for for some odd reason.
