  1. Koz had the best shot I have ever seen in person. Wasn't great at creating space, but when he was free, boy that thing was a laser. Wilkie seems to have a better all around game and a great shot. So heavy. So hard. So accurate.
  2. I know it wasn't my opinion you were looking for, but Sun Dogs and it's not close lol.
  3. I'll take clean, all day. If I were a Panthers fan, I'd be completely fine with this logo. No teeth. No scowl, please, for UND's sake.
  4. If you're going to be annoying, long-winded and highly questionable, might as well be cute, right? Well, that's my formula, I guess
  5. 70 lines of adorable, right there.
  6. Hopefully they'll raise the Big 10 champion banner the night we're there
  7. I'm curious as to why you think NoDak wouldn't win handily. UND has a better top line... yes, those three are good and POTENTIALLY great players, but they aren't as developed as the CBS, physically. UND has a MUCH better d-corps and nearly all of them are older and more physically developed. It's really not a shot at London.
  8. I had some one point this out to me.... London's 5th leading scorer.... yeah, he was a healthy scratch for BU for much of his time there... 4 career points, 1 goal. I'm not sayin', I'm just sayin'.
  9. I'm honestly not even in the ball park of his thinking. The premise is silly. If UND plays like they did in important games (the entire NCAA tournament this season), they won't win only 8 of 10.... they win all 10.
  10. Ironically enough, I absolutely have it circled for 16-17. But, for me at least, it's just a little bit more about a particular piece of history going into the rafters of the Ralph and not so much about seeing Taylor Dickin play, post UND
  11. Absolutely. Hilarious to think otherwise, honestly.
  12. Oh boy.... Don't say Husky Women... we're better than that
  13. I disagree. I see posts on Facebook daily about Gopher/UND hate. Ever read the comments whenever NCAA Ice Hockey puts out their weekly poll Facebook post? It's always several UND and UM fans going at it. I honestly think they mean more, if not, similarly equal. OOC games are huge, particularly for Minny who's battling the Big 10 RPI struggle, and it's a rivalry game. Is the rivalry diminished? Hard to say. Maybe? But I sure know that I bring up the rivalry to all my Gopher-loving friends whenever I see them and they give it right back to me. All I do know is, that when these two teams play this season, it'll still be very intense.
  14. Tradition is what has made this rivalry. The kids wearing the sweaters now still know that. They'll be up for it. It's only been two seasons since 0.6 and our captain was there for the game. Gophs will have a group that played in that game, too. Plus, all of our boys from the area.... The Poolmans, Pogo, Boeser, Gersich (particularly who this kid's family is).... they know this rivalry and what it means to the history and to the fans of UND and UM. There were times in recent history when the Goofs were out of the playoffs and rankings and those games were plenty competitive. Think the Alex Kangas years. I'm sure it was the same vice versa back in the more leaner years of UND's past. The MOOCH will be rocking.
  15. YES! I know this isn't a team thing, but it helps for his development and his potential run at a Hobey.... which in turn, are all good things for the program.
  16. Jim Montgomery and the Pios gained a lot of respect from this guy this year. Great team. But, ultimately, we were the better one. Kudos to those boys. They'll be right there with us as favorites in the NCHC this coming season.
  17. I say plenty of crazy things. Don't underestimate me lol. I'm just saying what I've heard. He is on our roster. He can't be a bad player, in all honesty. Will he ever been good enough for consistent playing time? We'll see. I'm sure he'll get his shot.
  18. So, what is he missing? I'm not tossing out a letter for the sake of it. I think he's one of the best leaders and probably our best player. That = A to me.
  19. I've heard/read a lot about Chartrand being pretty darn good. We'll see. I pegged Boeser as an A not because of him being the best player, but he's one of the hardest workers. I see a lot of Toews in his work ethic. He was lauded a lot during the season for being a leader. The only other one close to him in terms of leadership, IMO, is Pogo and I think Boeser and Pogo deserve it equally.
  20. I 100% agree. JJ showed a bit of scoring touch, too. Not quite up to LJ's sniping ability, but a bit of a knack for it. He's very good defensively.
  21. I realized after that my post came off like a d-bag, sorry haha. Wasn't intended. I'd guess at this point that any team who drafts Jost trusts us to develop him. Putting him together with 2 first round picks will do nothing to hurt his status and will only enhance it. If that means playing less center, which it would on a line with Schmaltz, so be it.
  22. I think this is close. I'd like to maybe try JJ with Gardner and Pogo. He's got that "Heavy Line" feel, IMO. I don't think they can pass on loading that top line. I'll go: Jost, Schmaltz (A), Boeser (A) JJ, Gardner, Pogo Gersich, Simo (A), Wilkie Hoff, Olson, Gornall 20 Gage (C), Wolanin T. Poolman (A), Shaw C. Poolman, Evers/Chartand/Bowen Johnson Tomek Rinks Anderson Two thoughts... that third paring of mine makes me nervous. I think I agree with you in that they will pair the Poolies and have a more "veteran" guy like Shaw with a freshman. I don't want a freshman D pairing. The other.... Tomek is going to get his shot.
  23. JJ? I'm sorry, but absolutely not. It will be one of three, IMO .... Jost, Gersich and Wilkie. I don't see Bubbs passing on a Jost, Schmaltz, Boeser line. We have plenty of centers.
