  1. I'd be pretty surprised if Gersich played center. I'd pick Mismash there, for sure.
  2. Yeah, I don't know. Glad I'm not anywhere near making this decision
  3. The bottom 6 was way hard to peg.... I just don't see Simo sitting. He's too good defensively and with several young bodies on the ice, we need that stability, IMO.
  4. Slow work day, so I'm gonna give this a shot: Gersich -- Gardner -- Pogo Mismash -- JJ -- Bowen Hoff -- Simo -- Kawaguchi?/Adams?? Olson -- Smith -- Jones/Gornall/Yon Where does Adams go?? Pooly -- Wolanin Shaw -- Peski Bast -- Johnson/Kierstad/Rieger Cam Thome Anderson I like this. I WANT there to be competitions in our forward groups. Guys like Hoff, Smith, Bowen all need to work their tails off because guys like Kawaguchi, Adams, Yon and Gornall are going to be battling to take their spots.
  5. I've been told by a couple people that Chartrand isn't coming back.
  6. This times 1,000,000 woooooooo
  7. Also.... DOES HE SHAVE HIS ARM PITS?!?! WHAT IS THIS KID?!?! hahaha
  8. If all three of these aren't on a poster at the REA when we play the Gophers this year, I will be disappointed in our fans.
  9. And I positively enjoy making fun of him.
  10. How'd you get this? Is it sent to Alumni?
  11. My guess is that there have to be at least some holdovers from Eaves' pipeline, right? Still, yes, this was a huge problem. That and losing Brock
  12. Seriously! I just have this vision of Granato spinning yarns with his snake oil and the parents being all dreamy eyed. Three years later when it's time to come to campus, the roster is full. Crazy.
  13. Yeah, it's still wrong. Saying "this year's NHL Entry Draft" implies he's NHL draft eligible. Which he's not.
  14. I wonder if these kid's parents are looking at the recruiting pipelines. I'm assuming they know if their kid is going to have a shot to play there, right? Insane.
  15. Who's she? says the Sioux and New York Giants fan
  16. Definitely young, but with our solid ties to the BCHL now, I'm optimistic. He even flat out mentioned Jost. Good stuff. Nice work, Bubs and Co.
  17. This was the point I was trying to make.
  18. I'm fully aware that Rowney scored less points as a senior, but that wasn't all Rowney was about. Pogo reminds me of Rowns in many ways. Leadership, size, relative speed, etc., etc. Thanks for pointing out an obvious, however. I appreciate it.
  19. Pogo reminds me a lot of Rowns, despite obviously being drafted. Hopefully he has as big a senior year as Carter did.
  20. Sounds like he's got an injury that will slow him down a bit at the start. However, he's gonna get his shot, for sure.
  21. Yeah, he's fine skating forward, I was talking more lateral movement and quickness to find empty space. I agree his release isn't very good, too. Yeah, it bums me out when guys don't stick it out and try and get better to move into the lineup, but if you can step into a guaranteed role with another team, it can only help him potentially improve his pro stock. He needs to put up points.
  22. Unfortunately, he's just not fast enough and/or skate well enough to get open to get that shot off, with regularity. Seems like a good kid and I hope he gets his shot at CC.
