  1. Been so impressed with him since he got moved up to line with Pinto and Michaud. Definitely due. Stealing your call
  2. I like this call. I'm with you. Friday -- Judd Saturday -- Michaud
  3. Right, which is why I said the combo of TALENT and effort was what was unique about him.
  4. Absolutely. A majority of the bars in GF have NCHC.tv. You should get it, too!
  5. Might have been the best of mix of talent and pure motor as any as I've ever seen at UND. He never, ever quit on a shift.
  6. I mean, JBD is pretty much an all-around defensmen. He really lacks a deficiency, IMO.
  7. Last real two games of 2019. Can you frickin' believe that? Couple good wins on the schedule for the Broncos versus Michigan, Denver and even BGSU. Gotta bring the big boy pants to the Zoo. Keep it rolling.
  8. I feel ya, but three teams did play. Looking at the stats of the players, the only one who may have not gotten it was Scheel, but it is what it is.
  9. Well, if they do that, they are making their team worse. I think he gets in, for sure. JBD is a stud.
  10. UND sweeps weekly NCHC awards. First team to do that since 14-15: https://www.grandforksherald.com/incoming/4800615-UND-is-first-team-to-sweep-NCHC-weekly-awards-since-the-2014-15-season Guchi gets his third already this year and is the first forward for UND to earn the weekly award three times in a season. Boeser won it twice in 16-17.
  11. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2019/12/02_Four-NCAA-Selected-to-Team.php JBD one of four NCAA players selected to Canada's WJC camp roster. Awesome for this guy. Totally deserving, in my book.
  12. It got SO bad in the second last night. He complained after four straight shifts.
  13. 100% what I saw. I like Nelson, Ranta and Meyers. Other than that, it wasn't close and I don't think I'd prefer any player on their team over what we got.
  14. Totally opinion, you're right, but for me, all of Minnesota did for the most part, was shoot from the point and look for a scrum in front. Despite that game getting to 3-2, I never once felt like UND lost control of that game. We definitely got a bit gassed near the end, however. See, I don't see a lot of difference from Thursday. They turned the puck over less, but UND still consistently won board battles and destroyed Minnesota through the middle. Ranta, their best player, was irrelevant this weekend as we never gave him space. I think the main difference from night one to night two was we didn't create as many turnovers and bury all of our chances. Minnesota is a very soft team. Plenty of talent, but very, very soft.
  15. I'm sorry, but Minnesota was NOT the better team last night. Minny came out hard in the first 10 or so minutes, but we absolutely put it on them through the middle part of that game. They took the next 10-15 min in the third, but finished strong. No way was Minnesota better in that game.
  16. Here's a gem... This guy believes that Minnesota team, which we consistently walked, toe dragged, stick check and sniped all weekend... has better talent, but UND won on experience... adorable.
  17. God this makes me happy. Maybe a little bit sad. But WAY more happy than sad haha.
  18. Tell us how you really feel.
  19. Exactly my thought.
  20. Sure, but again, I don't 100% think it's an effort thing. I have no reason to believe UND won't bring it tonight. But, I see a talent difference in the two teams.
  21. Of course, but the talent gap seemed tremendous, especially on the back end for Minny. This won't change tonight. I just flat out think we're better. That's from seeing them play several games before yesterday and of course, after last night.
  22. That was good... this one... is my current favorite I've seen on the Interwebs.
  23. Hahaha from what I saw last night, the Gophs aren't far ahead. I'd bet we wear the business suits tonight.
  24. Coming into the series, I would have been happy with a split. After last night and seeing the talent difference from UND to Minnesota, I would be very disappointed with a loss tonight. UND is better, top to bottom. Play anywhere near our game from last night, game over. 5-1 UND Kierstad, Pinto, Michaud, Adams, Mash
