I don't think the first game would be considered in determining the league standings, since it was thecnically an exhibition game.

It's not over...especially playing the Mavs...until the buzzer sounds. But 6-3 seems safe enough.

Dogs up 3-2 after 2 periods (despite refs best efforts). Getting absolutely hosed by officials. It's terrible. CC holding the stick and the LINESMAN calls UMD for roughing (trying to get his stick out from under the guy who is laying on it). I'm not giving updates during play because my DSL is down so I'm using slow a** dial-up. Radio feed is constantly rebuffering.

I hope you're right about UMD getting a #1 seed. *crossing fingers*

That is the one thing I worry about with the Dogs. They are a very deep team, but have yet to really have to deal with injuries this season. With tough series against CC, UND, and Wisco coming up, I hope we can come through it with our lineup still intact.

Bill Mason also played from 81-84 for UMD. He played Right Wing, and had 31G-37A-68 for his career.

We've already swept them this season...with no "emotion" factor involved. I think you're coming from left field on this one. Comparing a 4th place PWR team with a 15th, one that may not even MAKE the NCAA's. Just because CC pulled out a win against the Sioux, does not mean they are suddenly better than their 9-11-2 (16-11-3) record would indicate.

NICELY PUT F.S. #1!!!!!!!!!! There was plenty of fisticuffs during that game. Even the goaltenders did their share! The Wild/Vancouver game was anything but tame as well. Blais must have forgotten that St. Cloud beat us twice at home, our only 2 home losses this season. Adam Coole was pumped up to beat his old team.

Where is GoldenGophs now? He doesn't dare show his face after the beat-down we laid on them this weekend. Outscored 10-2 on the weekend. Gophs are spinning their wheels now. Can't even decide whose supposed to be on the ice to accept the beating next (2 too many men penalties). Go back in your hole GG, the sun is setting on your season.

And it certainly imporves the QUALITY of life. Hats off to the BADgers on this one. Not enough to make me cheer for them though.
