What time does your game start? Must be a 7:30 or later, as nobody is chattering. Or perhaps nobody can get the feed! Dogz and Seawolves underway in Duluth. 0-0, just 5:00 in.

They used to play a third place game, but the coaches complained about it. Very anticlimactic if you ask me. Just another excuse to overcharge people for tickets. I still like the WCHA third place game though, because some teams may need to win it to get to the NCAA's.

It's not like we're flooding the thread. We mainly only post score updates, and like interacting with the Sioux fans. The increased number of posts this weekend was due to the fact that there were many awkward silences which I felt obligated to fill with "action". Nothing was happening in the Sioux game...everyone agreed it was a snoozer. There wouldn't have been much to scroll through if it was just Sioux vs Canisius posts (probably not even a full page). Some may like a game weekend condensed into tight little 2 or 3 page packeges. That's what a newspaper is for. We're here to discuss hockey, real-time with other fans of the game such as the faithful Sioux followers. We don't troll, or spam, or badmouth the Sioux (notice we don't use the POI spelling "sue" ever). We will try to keep it down to just score updates and discussions about the Sioux and the state of the WCHA relative to that nights action, for that is what the "Friday night" and "Saturday night" threads are really about. It's about the thrill and the excitement of "Hockey Night" in the greatest conference in college sports, the WCHA. I SS.com End...rant?

Must have been tough for the Sioux to have to play three games in the span of only three games!

How stable is this connection you have. I am low on funds now, but would like a CCCP jersey sometime in the future? My grandparents went to Russia a few years ago and only brought me back a weird hat, even though they know I am a huge hockey fan.

Sioux have a lot of shots. Have they been decent chances, or mostly perimeter shots?

Cheers are like pop songs. The words sound really stupid when you just say them or read them, but in the context they are meant to be heard in they are really quite catchy.

Do you think the Sioux will rotate goaltenders during the game to get a feel for who will be their #1?

Don't have a link to anything...just some conventional wisdom. Chinese restaurants are always a safe bet for X-mas day grub. Never been to GF though so I don't know if there is one close to REA.

PCM, There was only one UMD poster last season. Don't lump me in with the Drunk Hockey Guy, Iceberg, and the other pBox rubes. They only invaded when UMD was playing the Sioux, and never say anything good about the Sioux. People tend to just sit in the game thread and refresh constantly to get up to the minute updates on game nights. Most of the time I have been posting from work this season, and do not want to waste work time swapping threads in order to post updates, and still see how my second favorite team is doing. Tonights update may have sounded like you were standing in the grand canyon with all the echoing going on, and I can understand how that would get a bit annoying after a bit. RWtheDogs and I will work that out. As for you...Mr. I Just Joined Yesterday, It's still Rush Week for you buddy, so quit yer whining and get me a cold one before I paddle your behind!
