There certainly is more pressure on them at lower elevations.......

The Dogs are now officially back on the radar. They check in now at #20 in the Pairwise!! Beating the Gophers really does get you recognition...but maybe it has more to do with last weekend at CC. Anyway, it is good to see them battling back this way after a terrible first 4 months... Here's hoping the Dogs turn on the afterburner now go smoking into February and March!!

So after sartaing this thread and patiently awaiting the game being shown on FSN, I friggin forgot to set my VCR!! NO worries though, as I just watched the Dogs dominate the Gophies on the frozen ocean!! It really is better watching it in person (even if there are cops stationed right behind you (literally) most of the night!! GO DOGS!!!!!!!!!!!

The Gophs played like a team possessed. They were getting all the bounces and beating the Dogz to most of the loose pucks. Hopefully the Dogz will carry over some of the momentum they gathered in the final few minutes of the game. See you at the Frozen Ocean tonight!!

I will start this thread, but I am heading out the Champps in Eden Prairie to watch the game with a buddy of mine (Gopher fan) who occupies the seat next to me at the Final Five. Dogs lead 4-3 late in the third. The tension builds! Dogs called for icing with 1:30 to go.

Too bad you weren't taking bets! Bet a lot of people would have taken that action (and some still might). Dogs game ending in a tie, but they had many opportunities. Not scoring on that late game 5min PP was the clincher there. Both goaltenders played supurb in the third period, and OT. If the play carries through to tomorrow night it should be one hell of a game!! GO DOGS!!!

Dogs need this win SO bad. Not that we really have a realistic PWR shot, but it would be a quality road win, and give us some bonus points, not to mention some momentum in a positive direction.
