I'll tell you one thing... if everyone on the team skated as hard as Bowen last night we don't lose that game. He might not have the skill set of some of the the other big names on this team but no one worked harder than that kid last night. He was an animal behind the net and in the corners. I will take work ethic over talent most of the time.

My takes... 1)Reffing was very one-sided... did MSU get thrown out of one G-damned faceoff? 2)Panic passes... young team makes very poor decisions with the puck 3)Cam needs competition... 4)veteran leadership needs to step up. Ausmus gliding to pucks does NOT cut it.

I've never tried to reach out to CJ on any social media, let alone attack him on one. As far as criticizing goes, at this stage in his career it is very much fair game. This isn't bantams here. Although Cam shouldn't get the brunt end of the stick... That should go to Brad Berry who seems unwilling to give another goalie a chance even though CJ is clearly struggling at times.

UND is waiting way too long to release shots... looking for the perfect shot. We need pucks on net now or this one is over. Over half our shot attempts are blocked.

I'm not saying it's a done deal but UND has had their fair share of surprises... Brett Hextall and Luke Johnson come instantly to mind.

If this is a rebuilding year I'm scared to see what next year looks like... UND will lose a lot of talent after this year. Imagine if Tomek jumps because he's not getting any ice time. Boeser is gone. Gersich, T Poolman, Pogs, and possibly Jost are all flight risks. Ausmus's last year.

UND is playing well, Cam J. is not. Our PK is terrible but our defense is much better than last night.

Time to try something different in goal... Cam did fine with last year's defense in front of him. But with our defense this year he frankly is not getting it done. He lets in way way too many soft goals.

Yes EJ... that is exactly what I'm saying... Smart teams do not take penalty after penalty like this. The refs are being consistent with what they are calling. Smart teams adapt, the dumb teams lose because of it.

Blame the refs if you want... this is on the coaching. You need to crack the whip and get it into their heads to stop taking these penalties.

He should have a handicap permit but I think he is too proud... He wouldn't want to take a spot of someone who really needs it.
