  1. We have two seats ON THE GLASS in Section 120, corner seats. Git yer kid on the tellyvision with game cameras right next to you, or almost anyway. Games for Friday afternoon, Friday evening, and championship game on Saturday night. $135 per package, $270 for the pair. Tix in the Twin Cities. Will also sell FULL TOURNEY PACKAGES for these seats for $160 each, or $320 for the pair.
  2. I believe that this is correct. Wild attack the 110 end twice. I also suspect that the same will be true for the Frozen Four. This said, it seems that in years past at the Final Five I found the attack zones flipping willy nilly.
  3. Wow. Did not know that. Thanks.
  4. I do not ever recall Creighton as ever having been in the North Central Conference. Unless it was about five coon's ages ago . . . .
  5. No green or blacks from here on in until, maybe, at the National Championship game. We will need to get the attitude in the whites. Judging from Friday and Saturday night, and not touching The Cup, the boys will be just fine in da white jerseys.
  6. Sorry. These tickets are temporarily on a sale hold and are no longer available.
  7. We have two extra Frozen Four tickets. Section 222, Row 10. $396 for the pair, which is face, plus NCAA processing fee. Will be in Grand Forks for Tech series. Otherwise, tickets are in the Twin Cities.
  8. Hi Red.

We have four in Section Club 4, Row 8. Face value with NCAA fee. I think that is about $790. I will need to check. We are coming to Grand Forks for the weekend and could do an exchange then.

    Tim.

  9. Jamestown in a mild stunner over Red River. Hard work beats talent when talent does not work hard. Book it.
  10. Gm 1. Blood Gm 2. Davidson Gm 3. LaPoint Gm 4. Gleason I will be gone for a stretch so I have picked my winners for both BSU and MTU.
  11. Nope. The X sends out a renewal form that includes, as I recall, a $5 processing fee at most. Nikki at the Xcel Ticket Office handles the Final Five questions. I suspect that she will be happy to take your call and sell you a ticket direct.
  12. No discount price. Just opportunity to renew same seats and maybe get an upgrade. Also, they throw in a 1970's WCHA history dvd. Next year will be the 80's. Then the 90's. Then the '00's.
  13. That was round ball. This is ice hockey. Big difference in my opinion. Many locals, regardless of who is in the tournament, will be showing up to watch the second greatest event in all of sport, the NCAA FROZEN FOUR!!
  14. When North Dakota makes it through the West and into the X, these tickets will be in high demand. It will not be a year when they will be had inexpensively on the street. There are plenty of good Minnesota hockey fans who will show up regardless. Every Sioux fan and their families near and far will want to come to The X. The scalpies will recognize this and will be in a buying frenzy, if they are not already. Get these now at face value if and while you can. My three cents. I have been wrong before, and I will be wrong again.
  15. Now this would be one hell of a game in a house jammed to the rafters . . . . It would answer the question, at least for a game, whether great coaching beats good coaching, or whether great talent beats good talent, no matter the coaching. Of course, as noted elsewhere, heart and maybe even destiny, good or bad, may have something to play as well.
  16. February 19, eh Dave? We cannot make this this year, but can speak from experience that it is alot of fun, with some very fine prizes. Great Clown fans. Great Sioux fans. Great hockey fans. A nice mixer. A single guy might even find himself a Huskie woman!
  17. I am an idiot. When I went to pull these tickets thinking that they were for a committed Saturday buyer, I find out that they are for the FRIDAY GAME!! (We took care of the Saturday buyer with even better Saturday seats!, although only four for the same price due to the TicketBastard charges). As such, we have five (5) seats for the FRIDAY NIGHT GAME in Section 120 behind the net that the Sioux will shoot at twice. Great seats. Asking $160 which is what we paid SCSU ticket office. $30 each plus a transaction fee. Tickets are in the Twin Cities. If buying less than all five, I may also be able to personally deliver at the door. Or provide transportation to and from the Twin Cities to any takers. Maybe.
  18. I am sure the Final Five reference was initially to remaining teams. Then, with the expansion of the league to twelve, and with the Wild wanting to muscle in on the fun with their stupid Saturday afternoon game, my Uncle Bruce was left to change horses and change the reference to the final five games of the league's season.
  19. They keep the name Final Five because now it is the final five games of the league season.
  20. It is an odd design. I was more concerned about my order being goofed up with seats in places they were not supposed to be and no seats where they were supposed to be. This was largely my fault as I do not always speak or write with clarity. Great folks at the X corrected to my satisfaction and did not even suggest me an idiot while doing so. As I often preach, if you ain't got 'em yet, buy 'em now. Even with the Thursday package prices included, the street cost and demand could go sky high on Friday night and Saturday. Who knows? Sioux 6. Gophers 1. Championship Final.
