The only thing we are missing is you calling about 6-7 plays and we would be conference Champs.  Brush off the resume and send to Chaves and tell him you will be available Sat. Afternoon.

Bubba would have had to actually make the playoffs first

Get your collective a$$es to EGF and eat at Boardwalk between now and January 17.  A lot.

And God bless them for having the stones to stand up to garbage tyranny out of St. Paul.

Boy would another $500k loan that gets "forgotten" about for the next 20 years and only needs to be partially repaid come in handy about now.

You remind me of an SNL skit where the person pretends to be something they aren't.

Keep being happy with a stale old coach that will guarantee the program is never anything more than a game over .500 team and a 1st round exit from the playoffs.

This thread is a sample size of what, 150-300 of the same people that post?  Not posting about a new coach is how you determine “a lot of people”??

The type of people on this board are some of the most important ones.  They are the ones actually still talking about a 3-5 football team and most likey to watch/attend games.

Too many people won't call for a change because Bubba is such a nice guy.  It is possible to be a super nice guy but not the right coach to lead UND.

  5. Mussman was what 31-34?  Bubba is currently 45-39?  I was not a Mussman fan, but alot of people try to give Bubba a pass because "oh the MVC is so tough....he needs more time".  Well Mussman had to roll into D1 with a bunch of D2 recruits and the Big Sky soon after.  In that case it didn't matter, results (or lack thereof) caused a change.  Not sure why this case is any different.

If UND ever really wants to be the 'Flagship" U of North Dakota, it will be done on the football field.  I travel quite a bit and if you talk about the University in ND, 99% of the time NDSU is blurted out by the person.  In the US outside of Minnesota and Boston and the Red River Valley of the North, college hockey is on the same level as college lacrosse.

Actually I'm guessing college lacrosse is bigger than college hockey by quite a margin.

If we would have gotten our O-Line back from this spring our record would be different. But we are young, inexperienced, and possibly just a bit outclassed on the line at times. Most of these short yardage turnover plays are 1st downs in stead of turnovers and Danny has more faith to hand it to Otis straight ahead instead of trying to fool defenses. Nate Ngoun was a huge, huge loss!

Maybe true....but almost every team can say something similar.  Imagine if Trey Lance hadn't backed out of Spring ball?

Last Friday night, as a walked into Buccaneer Arena in Des Moines, I got to my section and look up to the top row at my seat, and the audible sigh is let out as someone is standing in my spot behind my seat. I walk up the steps mentally prepping to have the exchange to let this guy know he’s going to need to move.

Get to the top row, and who is it? None other than the head coach of DU hockey, David Carle.

You tell him to get the h*ll out of your seat?  Lol

  9. Everyone is talking about the players of varying talent levels that may leave if Bubba leaves .....but once again, the Bubba apologists don't ever want to think about what talent over the last several years has never even come to UND in the first place due to a retired in place coach and an OC that is looking more and more overmatched the more games he coaches (when the opposite should be happening).
