My expectation is for the Sioux to win big on Friday night, something like 7-1.
They are the better team, playing at home, get an emotional lift having Parise, Murray, and Stafford back. I believe they will be ready to go and will dominate the game. Alaska-Anchorage on the other hand has not played a game in the past month, had to travel and are missing two players. I would not expect their play to be as sharp as it could be and hence the lopsided result.
Now, on Saturday I expect a much different type of game. Anytime you get a lopsided conference win on Friday the game on Saturday is usually much closer, sometimes with a different winner. Alaska will have had a game under their belts so I expect them to play better. The Sioux will have some degree of letdown after winning easily on Friday and the players back from the WJC will probably be fatigued as Blais suggested earlier. I still see a Sioux win, let's go with 3-2.
Or I could be completely off-base.
