  1. Is everybody on wiki committed already?
  2. Seems like most places put all their effort into the burgers and the fries are treated like a garnish, either soggy or overdone. About the only consistently decent fries are at 5 Guys, other than that I usually pay the buck or two to get onion rings instead.
  3. Health-conscious bastards are ruining the dining choices for us high-cholesterol real Americans!
  4. That was exactly my point, I was responding to the post that said Red Robin would be a better addition to the area than other options, and obviously RR would offer more than Sonic can as far as menu choices and, yes, quality of food. I probably should have worded that better, it's a good thing for the town that Sonic is coming and they will do well, but as was said RR would be a great catch.
  5. "Quite telling about your level of sophistication." I guess stating that Red Robin has a bigger menu and better food than Sonic has branded me a hillbilly.
  6. That could be part of it, in Bismarck it was the original owners and a lot of real German food, a lot of people my parents age always stopped there when in Bismarck, you could even hear them speaking German in the kitchen sometimes. Probably like everything else, the copy is never as good as the original.
  7. Really? It used to be very good at the original Krolls Kitchen in Bismarck, but it's been a while since I've been there so maybe it's slid...that's disappointing.
  8. I think they would do well in GF, the size of menu and food quality of them over Sonic is tremendous.
  9. Been there about a year I suppose, in the Heights. I'm surprised Bozeman hasn't got a Red Robin yet, the ones in Billings and Missoula are always busy, they have a bigger menu than Fuddruckers and about the same amount of 'specialty burgers' for lack of a better word, pretty decent food.
  10. I like Krolls, can't beat their knoephla soup and chocolate shakes...damn.
  11. Pretty much anytime except the middle of the afternoon, but it's fairly new so the novelty probably hasn't wore off yet for most people. Never been to an In N Out, where are they mostly located?

    UND vs. UW

I barely considered this a rivalry anymore it has been so quiet, almost boring the last few years. Not saying it's better for the game when you have guys coming off the bench to fight and arguing with the crowd among other things, but after watching these two games it brings Bucky right back towards the top, just a hair below Denver and Minnesota, on the most-hated list.
  13. Been to the one in Billings, it's kind of cool with the outdoor seating and carhops on roller skates, but the food is no better than average, probably won't hit it again. People like it though, they're usually backed up in the drive-thru 10 deep every time I've driven by it.
  14. Are there any others that are questionable besides Gray? Any word on Riddle lately?
  15. Well played. Fortunately the cat is no longer allowed to play with the dog because the relationship is unhealthy, so it won't happen again.
  16. Hopefully we can build some momentum off tonights game, team showed some grit tonight. Nice to see others besides the big 3 in the scoring column. Good weekend defensively giving up 2 goals total.
  17. They come out of the woodwork when the going gets rocky all right, no reason to panic yet but there's no doubt we are not playing very good hockey right now, tomorrow is almost a must-win just to get some momentum going again.
  18. The cat is the Gopher, instigates sh^t and then runs when confronted. What do I win?
  19. There was an article in the paper today that fighting in the NHL is on record pace so far this year, they aren't sure why but the last time it was this high was after the last lockout...wierd, must be all that frustration being cooped up with mama for too long.
  20. Because they're sneaky bastards and stay in the shadows unlike lost dogs who run up to people when they see them, or follow them home, or bark at them. Dogs will jump right into a police car, catching a stray cat is almost impossible.
  21. More irony, it flows hard today! I think Earl invented diving in hockey. If they're serious about dealing with diving (which I will have to see to believe), the penalty is going to have to hurt to put an end to it. I don't think it's worthy of a five, but two minutes and a period off like ringneck28 said might work...or maybe 5 is the answer, they're trying to draw fives so maybe that's what they should get...IDK. Problem with this whole thing is it's going to be up to the refs judgement, and one side is going to cry every time a penalty is called or not called.
  22. Nailed it, Derek is decent, the other two were/are not.
  23. The quotes were from Papa Shep, Supervisor of Officials, he hasn't actually reffed for a while. Hard to keep the Shepard crew straight sometimes. Ironic that college hockey is now thinking about this the same year that the NBA installed flopping rules.
  24. True, only said that because half the time he admits being in the bar when he posts and considering how those posts look...
