Exactly right, there's a hundred ways it could go and that's assuming the Summit actually does break up which is only one possibility at this point. If it does happen you guys might have to go through the same routine UND did with the moniker/conference fiasco...are we in, are we out, what's option B...not a good time.

I don't see the MVC trading location for competitiveness, if it came down to one school SDSU or NDSU would be more attractive but SDSU is probably tied to USD so who knows how it would shake out. I have a hard time imagining the Dakota 3 breaking up, but as they say desperate times require desperate measures. Hopefully it won't get to that point for any of their sakes.

I would give that a credibility level of about a 1. Out of 1000. If the Dakota 3 end up in the MVC it will be as a reaction to a failed league, and even then it's questionable if the MVC would take any or all of them. Pulled that right out of his ass.

I'd give them a shot at the MVC, but it wouldn't be a lock by any means.

To me NDSU is in better shape than the other two, they possibly would be invited to the MVC or the BSC, the South Dakota schools would probably be a package deal and I can't see either conference jumping on all three. Just when you think realignment has settled down a little...

Sounds like UNI lost a couple commits, one to NDSU and one to SDSU, that has to hurt in your same conference.

That's good, nice to see some last-minute defense added to the mix. Sounds like a good recruiting year for this area, UND, NDSU, Montana, and Montana State all very happy with their commits today, of course you never know for a couple years but they look good on paper.
