Probably the hottest team coming in is Wisconsin, they have been smoking the last month or so. Really nobody on our radar has been that great lately...UND, Minnesota (less the 4 Bemidji wins), St. Cloud, BC...all were pretty average down the stretch. Maybe that means they have played their best hockey already or maybe that means there will be an extra sense of urgency once the tournament starts, I guess we'll see Friday.

One good thing about all this lineup shifting is it makes it difficult for other teams to scout UND's forward lines, nobody knows who's in and out from game to game, hard to pick up any tendencies when you have a different top 2 lines every game.

Now that's a viewing party!

In years past the HE refs haven't been a good thing for UND because they don't see the physical play guys like Blood, Malone, etc... bring to the game and we end up getting more penalties than we normally would in WCHA play, and the players have to adjust somewhat. This year should be better because other than Mac (who gets called for everything anyway) we play less physically and more of a style they're used to seeing, which should keep us out of the box. I'm hoping that anyway.

I'm using reverse psychology, Minnesota to win it. Based on my results in Sioux Survivor this year, I have just doomed them to a 6-1 first round loss.

Good to see other people are figuring this out too.

I'm sure they're not happy either, these rivalry games you can pretty much throw the records out the window. Can't worry about them now, just have to concentrate on Niagara and see who comes next. And if it's Minnesota, we all figured we would have to beat them somewhere, so it might as well be sooner than later.

It might be time to get some new people on the selection committee, their East Coast bias is showing like a bad rash. And why people defend their "attendance will be better" theory is beyond me. Is it right to base the college careers of the actual coaches and players on which game will bring in more money, or by actually placing them where they deserve to be based on the 40 games they grinded out during the season? If that's how they want to play it, when they finally start their real FBS playoff down the road they should put Alabama, LSU, Florida and Georgia in the same bracket every year, and the "West" bracket should be Oregon, San Jose State, Stanford, and Utah State...because those are the games that will have local interest.

Both UND and Minnesota are going to have to be careful not to look past their first game at the looming matchup.

This will be a good regional to watch as a fan, good matchups.

I'd like to act surprised but kind of expected it...I'm starting to think York has incriminating pictures of someone. They should stick the PWR up their ass if they're not going to follow it. F

I've seen enough BC tournament games to last a lifetime...most ended badly of course.

What time is the selection show?

Can I get back to you tomorrow night? Right now with Minnesota at 2 and UND tied for 7th they are aligned to be together, but then again you never know what the committee is thinking. Michigan would be anyones guess, I wouldn't want to be the #1 seed stuck playing them right now if they win tomorrow.

As long as BU and Michigan don't both win their tournaments it looks like SCSU will slide in at the 16 spot, if they do SCSU looks to be out. BTW, who woke Michigan up this month?

Looking at St. Cloud more closely the WCHA, Atlantic, and ECAC finalists are all behind them in PWR, BU is behind them in the HE final, and OSU and Michigan are behind them in the CCHA semis, that's 3 and possibly 5 spots they are going to lose...and they're sitting in a 3 way tie for 11th right now...not good.

Yep after tonight they are definitely in big trouble, going to be more than 1 AQ that wasn't supposed to be there, they are hanging by a thread.

They might be in trouble...ranked 7th and sweating it out now.
