I haven't seen this yet, so can someone lay out how the playoffs work next year?

I would settle for all the even ones, actually the first part of 4 and the first part of 6. Everything else we can flip a coin.

I was going to mention Cichy too, but the forward numbers make it look like he'll find some playing time, so he'll be around.

As far as early departures, I'd be surprised if Blood, Gregoire, or Fienhage left, I think they all need more time here, especially Blood after watching him give away pucks in front of the goal again like he was doing early in the year. Chay...who knows. I wouldn't blame him if someone wants to pay him, but he might be viewed as damaged goods and need to play to redeem his value, in which case we would very gladly give him his C back. Hill might take a hike if Mattson and Forbert come.

Thanks for a great year guys, and even though I'm not a 'wait until next year' guy because it sounds like a cop-out...to the rest of the WCHA, whether Chay comes back or not: Fear us next year.

I'm somewhat concerned about this though. The WCHA refs, as much as we bitch about them, at least understand the concept of physical hockey. I'm wondering how our bruising style is going to be received in the East, especially if we meet BC in the final with all their pygmies. Our PK unit is pretty good but we can't expect them to get hung out 5 or 6 times a period and come out without giving up some goals.

How many times did you hit the ATM at that...ahem...establishment?

I guess they beat Wisconsin a week ago so it could happen again.
