Gophers = kicked some ass. I love how everyone's commenting based on that YouTube video that showed hardly any of the important stuff. I was at the game, I saw it all first hand. Many people commented that he had it coming, it was such a dirty hit. And Mankato had been doing it all game.

I didn't say it was always that, but when he hits our dude with intent to get hurt, that's justified. I never want anyone to get hurt and I wish him well but I don't feel bad about it.

Well he could play USHL until he was ready to come play for the Gophers/SCSU/whoever. Scott has seemed like an "azz kicker" type but I don't see a place for him with as good as our defensemen (excluding 2009 ) have/had been.

Yeah the Gophers recruited him before he committed to MSU. There's no doubt the Gophers miss a hitter like Bickel and that'd be a prime reason to bring him back. I think Lucia and the fans thought that Grant Scott was going to be like that, but he hasn't panned out. He couldn't play for at least a year, maybe he'd even have to be out all of next year too.

I agree. I don't think CC or UW are looking too promising. I've cooled on DU a bit too. If you had to tell me to pick 2 teams to compete for the title, I'd say UMN and UND. And of course I picked the Gophers
