I think when it's all said and the the top seeds for the tournament will be: 1.Michigan in Madison 2. New Hampshire in Worcester 3. CC in Colorado Springs 4.UND or Miami in Albany 5.UND or Miami as the top 2 seed

I've always thought the fsn-rm guys have been pretty complimentry(sp) towards the sioux.

I just hopre our Saturday night collapse against UNH won't come back and haunt us by preventing us from getting a 1 seed and at this point in time it is.

the only way for us to basically catch miami or michigan is for us to pass them in rpi, if we can somehow do that both comparisons will come into play. none of this will be settled until about 9:30 p.m. on march 22, right after the final 5 championship game.

this is going to sound very vague but it really comes down to the sioux need to keep winning and both cc and unh need to lose a few games. more specifically unh needs to falter against some TUC teams, we are very close to flipping the unh one right now. 2 losses to BC in the coming weeks would help as well. cc needs to lose a few down the stretch here and we need to keep winning. meeting cc at the final 5 and beating them would help as well. it's very complicated but if we keep winning those things will take care of themselves.

I wouldn't mind seeing that as well just to shove it up INCH's a$$, but for UND's sake I hope Miami does sweep them and the Sioux can take care of Miami in the Frozen 4.

that in the six years the ralph has been open the Sioux have swept every team in the WCHA at home except one...the Denver Pioneers. let's hope that stat will change next weekend.

if miami sweeps then we flip the michigan comparison as we gain the tuc advantage, if michigan sweeps we could eventually flip the miami comparison down the raod but that is iffy.

will the wcha have suspension police in the locker to see if hak calls them between periods?

After the Mankato series everyone was talking about how are power play was much improved from earlier in the year, and the coaches said it was basically from finally getting across to the guys-just shoot the puck. well, the last two weekends our power play has looked horrendus(sp) and there is no shooting the puck. I can't tell you how many times this last weekend our d-men at the point couldn't keep the puck in the zone as well. overall-I think we would have been better off declining the power play. I hope over the next two weeks the coaches can this corrected.

not to be picky but I did say next weekend not this weekend.

I bet the boys come out next weekend flying and put out their best efforts of the year witht he mentality of "us against the world" and win a pair for Hak.

this is getting blown way out of proportion and could somebody please tell me what the difference between Hak flipping the bird or watching all these players, coaches and refs use the "f" word all throughout games is. nothing. Did Hak use some poor judgement, yes. did he man up and apologize for it, yes. let's move on. In fact a couple of years I was sitting right behind the Sioux bench at the Ralph and thank God there were no kids around with all the profanity being flung around even by refs when Derek Shperd skated up to the bench and told Hak he f***ed up about something and he wasn't quiet about it either.

for the first time in my life I can say I will be pulling for the gophs this weekend against denver to get at least a split. plus I really hope we don't face them in the first round unless we can figure out way to solve kangas.

great win by the guys tonight, showed alot the way they turned it around after the first period. let's stop one trend tonight-the last 2 ot games we've won, we've lost the very next game. let's change that tonight. also, would anyone know why the all-time series records vary when you look at the gophers perspective and the und one. I mean in the und media guide at the beginningof the year it showed the gophers as having I think 129 wins and last night and in the minnesota papers it shows them with 137?

my wife and I are going to the frozen four this year and we've agreed that we will take one other sioux hockey related trip, either the Final 5 or the regional wherever it is, any suggestions as to which would be the better one to take?

I think if cc can sweep clarkson this weekend and we go 7-3(2 wins against bemidji is a must) in our last 10 games, win our first round series and make it to the f5 title game we should get us a one seed.
