And these refs are usually HS or college age kids.

The part I really miss is the rides and the one on one time with the boy.

Winning or losing in youth hockey doesn't mean squat nor does if a ref makes a call or not. I am probably in the extreme minority but when my kid was playing I could have cared less if they won or lost but did my kid play hard and contribute on a positive basis and get better over the course of the season.

This is the first year I believe.

With that logic at the BAA all four teams should have had to play then the two winners have a best of 3 state tournament.

Could you have a Bantam AA/A level where those that want to compete in AA tournaments in MN could or no? To GFHockey's point how much farther is that fall, as they are getting creamed anyways?

So there are 4 BAA teams in ND which is evidently too many because they had a play in game to eliminate one before the state tournament. What is the logic behind this? A three team state tournament will draw better?

Denver probably passes us and Omaha for third and we will play Omaha back to back weekends.

They would need 4 regulation wins to close out regular season, sweep first round series and win 1 at Frozen Faceoff to get an at large berth and even that might not be enough.

That was expected this weekend. Keep winning, RPI improves and movement will happen.
