Two games at Idaho would be great. However, I would be much inclined to letting Wisconsin host us. Even though we'd most likely lose Wisconsin is more in our recruiting base. However, any FBS games are great games and we need as many as possible. I guess I haven't heard. Are both guys out for the year? What are the specifics?

Well no surprises here really. Just as we got some great late aquisitions this recruiting season, I'm hoping that we can score a nice home game or a sacrificial game at a FBS school (not likely) for one of those 2 open dates in October. I also really like the 7 PM start November 8th for the SUU home game. I wish all the games were like that! Hopefully as we become a full-fledged D1-FCS team that this becomes more common. It sets us up for primetime TV coverage and what I feel will probably be maximum attendance.

Any word on Trupp's knee?

Anyone wanna make any chances to this prediction/prospective lineup now that we've gone through headcoach and position coach changes as well as a recruiting class? In my mind I think Rosario could start as well as Benjamin, and maybe Fonseca could get time or start as freshman. Thoughts?

Has the schedule actually been officially released yet? I know about the Walrus' proposed schedule but I thought that it was sposed to be officially released thurs or friday. This keeps me optimistic that if they keep holding out there could be a surprise game in there whether it be a better home game or a sacrificial trip to an FBS school. I'm stayin optimistic!

Anyone got news on Trupp? If you do let us know ASAP! I'm really worried, looked bad. He's probably been our best freshman and his line has really gelled and we need him in the post season.

Quick question, So do Fonseca de la silva and Bamba both come in as freshman like the rest of the class or are they considered more of a transfer student? More importantly will we see them on the field next year for the Sioux! I hope so. I'd love to see Rosario, Bamba, Fonseca, and maybe Heimler get some playing time next year. I would however not be objective to redshirting heimler, and I hope sutton redshirts because of our depth at RB.

Well I'm very happy with the class! For a first year of D1 recruiting class I'd say it's surpassed my expectations! I'm especially pleased in how we beefed up our OL, DL, and LBs. Of the group do you think there will be anyone who doesn't redshirt? Maybe rosario will follow in kuper's footsteps? I love this class and I would love to see how it stacks up to NDSU's 1st year of D1 recruiting class. Anyone know how to get ahold of that list? I think we will be able to run the ball proficiently next year and make a run at a GWFC championship!

Well from what you've said if, tomorrow, we have that and more I would be satisfied. I'm just a little scared with losing a few recruits in the last week that we might be losing moer than we know. Hopefully it will be the other way around though! I'm excited to see the official release of names! I'm also excited to win the GWFC next year!

Well of any of our needs I feel that we are probably strongest at RB. I'm still really worried about these recruits we've been losing over the last week. I'm afraid that the cupboard will look bare come Wed. I love the Sutton and Rosario guys, but I think we need more strength across the board than a couple standout guys.

Washington 4. Washington State No, ND in the mix. Unless if this is a different Ian Rosario, which i don't think it is, are we going to lose another commit? Can we actually land a guy who's looking at those competing programs?

This is very worrisome for me! We're losing a lot of recruits. Can anyone offer any encouraging words? I was really excited about this class, but now I'm worried.

Allow me to rephrase... Do we have the fanbase necessary to make us worthy of a stadium of this magnitude. We don't even sell out the Alerus Center right now. I would love to have this stadium but it is going to take a lot of improvement in fanbase to make this happen and also to upkeep it. The new stadium will be a huge failure if it is built and it's half full every game.

do you think this will really happen? Do we even have close to the Assets ($!) to make this happen?

I think I'm in love.... It would have to be down the road though. i don't think UND has the ability to sell out a stadium that big right now (we don't even sell out the Alerus). Obviously a lot of things have to happen first in order to have that happen.

In looking at the all-NCC 1st team selections is it good to see so many UND players selected to the all conference team (9 in all) but i can't help but think where is Danny Fruend? Zach Miller of UNO was selected as 1st team all conference. But look at the stats: Fruend: 176.35 Efficiency, 182 Cmp (68.7%), 5 INT, 2573 yds, 24 TD Miller: 147.85 Efficiency, 104 Cmp (61.9%), 5 INT, 1445 yds, 10 TD Miller does add 9 TDs and 808 yds rushing to Fruend's 4 TDs on 51 yds rushing. Even with the rushing numbers Miller doesn't quite stack up to Fruend. Sure the Mavs went undefeated but UND only lost one game and your record shouldn't play into the all-conference selections because it should be based on individual achievement. Zach Miller is a glorified RB in my opinion and is a great player (i saw for myself when they played UND). However, he didn't deserve this. I think the coaches made a big mistake on their all-conference selections and should be embarassed. With stats that far surpass those of the 1st team selection Fruend only received honorable mention!

Where do you guys think Horner is gunna go? A lot of NDSU fans assume that he wants to be Bison. Does he? If he went to NDSU he wouldn't even have a shot at playing RB. They'd play him at CB and KR. Could we net him? What are the chances that he plays somewhere in Montana or Minnesota instead maybe?

still nobody has answered my question? What are the injury signification and status of our RBs?! I'm dying to know.

What is the status on Chappell's injury? I must know. WIthout him we have no shot next week.
