  1. Here's a link to reviews from trip advisor, scroll down for the reviews. Based on some of the reviews, you may want to avoid this place.
  2. That's funny, I've been doing the same thing, but most people here don't know what the hell I'm wearing. I get a few "go Sioux" comments a season, but that's about it. The other day I was wearing the 87 retro with just the logo on the front, and the Target checkout girl asked if I play hockey for the casino.
  3. Agreed on Gagne. Funny how he managed to get signed just before the Mitchell report. Nearly blew it for us Monday.
  4. Hilarious, love the " Lamereaux Leap"
  5. That IS awesome! Where'd ya find it? That's gotta be as Lammy is falling backward off the pile.
  6. I have read/heard that the altitude in Denver is rough on visiting teams. Is this true, and how does a team prepare for this? Sprints? Herbies? Thanks!
  7. Wow, if the locals are saying that, than I'd say thats pretty impressive!!!! Nice!!
  8. This is the site I use when using PL. Here's a link to the Denver area hotels specificly. Click on "Denver/Boulder hotels" at the top for a list of hotels won, as well as the current PL zones in the Denver area to find out your prefered zone (I assume you would want to be DT). At first glance, it looks like there are a few hotels DT.
  9. Nope, no Zambomi (or "Ice Tractor" as he calls it). Yeah, we cut his hair a bit shorter than the avatar pic.
  10. Funny, I was in the same area with my 3 year old, security wouldn't let us by even when I told them he wanted to get a toy zamboni from the Badger gift store on the other side of the Badger fans....I guess he looked hostile and abusive with his temporary Sioux logo on his cheek.
  11. Yeah, I saw it after watching the DVD after getting home last night, they showed it twice! A guy wearing green stiped painters bibs was holding the shirt.
  12. I'm sorry, I'm lost a bit on this topic. They can't practice at the Ralph? I must of missed it in another thread.
  13. Agreed, what a joke. My buddy and I were trying to figure it out. In November it was packed to the rafters. I think this time of year folks are sick of the long winter and want to get on with spring and baseball (Milwaukee Brewers).
  14. I would go to Champps Sports restraunt on 74th. I called and they will have the game on ESPNU. Fun place. 414-281-0600
  15. I may have an extra seat in section 128 on the glass ($40), behind and slightly to the right of one of the goals. Sioux Fan only. send pm if interested, and I'll let you know if it becomes available.
  16. Does anyone know the origin of the hockey mullet? Is it because their helmet fits better on their head?
  17. I think the locker room tunnels are in the corners next to the bench. They skate out of the tunnel and to the bench, not like at the Ralph. I suppose you could switch benches, but let Bucky keep their locker room, but I imagine they'll let them be the home team, as Gwoz did.
  18. So, the locker room/bench determine which goal you shoot at? Sorry I'm not up on this. If it's Hak's choice, I don't know why he'd want Lammy in front of the students twice, although I'm sure it's not as saturated as reg season games, I was told by the UW ticketing office that they are selling those sections to students/students are requesting those sections.
  19. What about that guy on VS. Brian Englebom I think? He's got a mullet-rug!
  20. Thanks, didn't know the rules. Kinda wanted to go with the swifts cause we kicked their arses wearing them game 2 in November...it was like a different game, like much of the season, " A tale of two teams" lol OK I'll STFU now.
  21. That's good, then the students should only be behind Lammy in the 2nd period instead of 1 and 3.
  22. What do you think...swifts or green tomorrow? We lost with the swifts last Friday, and won with the greens on Sat...not superstitious but....... Correction: Whites last Friday......
