I am not following. Chapman has built a strong D1 program, expanded enrollment, seriously invested in NDSU, and that makes him a "scumbag?" Certainly Chapman has made mistakes, but wouldn't you also advocate for your school if given the chance? Sounds like leadership and if our President had done the same we would be in the Gateway with NDSU. Sorry, I won't let my UND loyalty color my perception of reality.

Okay, it's time to start pointing fingers: What is everyone's opinion of what led to do Lennon's leaving? To blame all this on Bunning seems a bit naive to me at best and just plain stupid at worst, but want to hear other opinions....

Why don't we go after Bohl? He has done well down at "MOO U" and why would anyone want to work there when they could be at UND? He seems like the obvious choice and the way to get our program back on its feet.

But, that is our own fault. We shouldn't even have a playoff now if we would have moved up earlier. I guarentee more people will be in Brookings for a meaningless game than this one. Any one want to bet me on that one? I wish we could turn back the clock and not have been so short sighted.

Too bad the NCC did not move up together to D1 FCS. That is an opportunity that was squandered. We could have kept the rivalries together and kept owning NDSU. Instead, it died due to terrible leadership by Thomas.

The problem is it is D2 football. We will pack them in next year!!!! Thank goodness we are moving up.

These Bison nuts are annoying. We all know we own the Bison and are twice as good. As I keep saying, we'd beat those idiots by 30. It is quite obvious that CMU is not as good as Southern Utah. What morons!

I will agree with the points raised by our Bison friend above. Although I still think the Sioux would win by 30 if we played, the problem is the we DON"T play and we have our aweful administration at UND to blame. What the heck were they thinking when they did not move up with NDSU? I find their leadership shameful and it makes me wish Dr. Chapman was at UND, not NDSU. Now, how can any of us blame NDSU in shunning Bunning in trying to resume the rivalry? Like they say, payback is a _____. All, I can do in the mean time is say the Sioux will win by 30, but I will never know.

Actually, you what is more pathetic than the NDSU secondary in that classic video? UND being so stupid that they didn't move up with them. I know UND would beat them by 30, but our administration was so stupid. Thank God Kupchella will be history soon.... Then, I could enjoy the 30 point win.

And I love how some Bison fans don't realize how much better UND is than they are. They would destroy NDSU by 30 points. That SUU game proved it. NDSU looked pathetic yesterday.

It is clear to me that UND is better than NDSU. UND would be higher ranked than NDSU if already in FCS. Bison fans are delusional if they think they could even line up against these guys and have a chance! Go Sioux!

I can't wait for the Potato Bowl! I think it is one of the coolest things about being a Sioux fan!

Bison barely beat SFA. And they thought they were good. This is a real team! The Great West will be a walk when we join!

That's a bit of a stretch, but if we can match and exceed the success of NDSU (which we all know will happen) I think it is a possibility. Why can't we be a regional football power? Why couldn't we eventually get into a conference with teams like Ball St. (who NDSU has beaten), Biose St., etc?

That is a good point. They deserve credit for being smart enough to move up with NDSU. Man, I wish we had done the same.

So, you would rather stay in D2 football? Not me and to my recolection, the NCC didn't want to move up when NDSU made the jump. I am glad the Sioux are moving up.
