I should add that this trip will include my 11 and 8 year old boys so as to try to reverse the UMD brainwashing process.

Much of that comes from China too.

Guaranteed made in China.

Been almost 3 years since my last trip to GF for a series…looking for hotel recommendations. PM me please so as to not clog up the thread.

Rumor has it that the QU players’ wives and kids will be in section 312 on Friday and Saturday night.

Like the holy grail of depressing…in Nebraska…watching Omaha hockey…with your mother-in-law. Oof.
-
They’re no worse than the Quinnipiac jerseys with the cat-head and the 6 foot long paw that forms a Q. That logo is awful.

…for UND vs the Fighting Pecknolds for this coming Friday night’s game.

That’s pretty rich coming from a guy who once re-enacted the strip tease scene from Slap Shot in front of an opponent’s bench after scoring a goal in Colorado’s F League…

I shouldn’t like it…but I kinda do.

1-0-1? At home? Surely, you jest!

Kneeling pre-anthem is fine…just don’t DARE do it in a post-game prayer though!

Well, Lindenwood is a “premium” game so the cheapest tickets were probably $75 apiece…

Losing to UAA last night is gonna come back to haunt the Broncos come tournament time.

I’ve come to hate the North Dakota font myself and just can’t get over that “D” looking more like an “O.”

You and I must have different definitions of the word “great.”

Right on cue, eh? Couldn’t have a Pairwise killer on opening weekend, could we?

Speaking of jerseys, I think the time has come for me to part with some of mine. I’ll start with my 2000’s era Gemini size 52. Authentic save for no fight strap. Stitched-garment WCHA and Gemini logo. #19 on the sleeves and back. The down-side is the nameplate, which is not an actual player name. Gemini Sportswear may be able to provide you with the material for a new nameplate, but that’s up to you. Serious inquiries only. Send me a direct message. Thank you.

Due to different patch manufacturers in their time, it was not all that uncommon to see players in the same TEAM wearing different front crest styles — or having different fonts on their respective nameplates. Take a look at the jersey “posing” next to the Tony Hrkac Hobey Baker trophy next time you’re at REA as a good example of all of the above minus the nameplate (which is another faux pax because the 1987 home whites did indeed have a name on the back).

The left jersey from the 1982 set was a darker green. The jersey on the right is patterned after the 1987 look, which used a different Indian head logo.

Needs white stripes on the arms and hemline.
