Unlike you, DaveK, I happen to live in the heart of B1G hockey country. I have yet to meet a Gopher hockey fan or Badger hockey fan who feels that the B1G is better than the old WCHA. In fact, most fans are quite apathetic about it. The WCHA Final Five was THE signature event of the hockey year. Now, the B1G has brought playoff hockey back to on-campus sites after disastrous reaults at the X and Joe Louis Arena. Has that made college hockey better - or set it back 20 years? Fiddle all you want...Rome has already burned.

Pretty much. My theory is that if UND scores more goals than the opposing team, the odds of winning the game increase substantially. I have not approached the coaching staff with this idea just yet - gonna test it out at broomballl in a few weeks and see if it actually works.

Totally disagree, keikla. It's all fun and games until Berry throws Boeser, Gersich, and Jost out there to "practice" 3x3...and promptly witnesses one of those three crumple to the ice after being slammed into the boards by an opposing player. Would any player or fan have felt better about the weekend after seeing a Hawks goal in the 3x3? Nope.

What does this team need?
