Yep, it was the fault of Bemidji fans for not making the 5 hour possibly white-knuckle drive to the X in January...and spending hundreds of dollars on tickets, food, hotel room, etc.

I was at the last-ever game that Jeff Sauer coached - I believe it was an OT loss to Colorado College in the WCHA Final Five Thursday game. He handled his exit with grace and class - didn't make much of a show of it on the ice that night either. He's a hockey legend - and will be missed.
Pat was so distraught once the Minnesota schools were all out of the NCAA tournament last spring that he didn't even discuss the rest of the regionals or the Frozen Four on "Beyond the Pond." I could almost see his angry red face thru my radio as I listened to his show those 2-3 weeks. What a bitter, bitter man.
I realize you're still trying to discredit NDSU's win over the Irish by bringing up a 3 or 4 year old comment I made, but this really isn't the place for that discussion, is it?
In about 5 years, we'll look back and appreciate last year's team even more than we did last March - and realize what a gifted group that that team was.
Oh, and Notre Dame is ranked #14 in MBB...
