At some point, you have to accept what you are. Last year's team was one for the ages. This year's team is average. And their record reflects exactly that.

Red's still coaching that team? I'm pretty sure it's just a couple of guys pulling puppet strings a-la "Weekend at Bernies."

Of course nobody wants to miss it... ...EXCEPT THIS GUY (at least according to siouxvikes)! In all seriousness, I think this team is in a hole that's only gonna get deeper. Just the way the puck bounces sometimes.

Yep, it was the fault of Bemidji fans for not making the 5 hour possibly white-knuckle drive to the X in January...and spending hundreds of dollars on tickets, food, hotel room, etc.

He handled his exit with grace and class - didn't make much of a show of it on the ice that night either. He's a hockey legend - and will be missed.

Minnesota doubled that win total with Saturday afternoon's win over Bemidji State.

Pat was so distraught once the Minnesota schools were all out of the NCAA tournament last spring that he didn't even discuss the rest of the regionals or the Frozen Four on "Beyond the Pond." I could almost see his angry red face thru my radio as I listened to his show those 2-3 weeks. What a bitter, bitter man.
