UND had the blessing in 2000 with the SL Sioux Nation. Why get rid of it then? There was no nickname policy until 2005 then the state (not UND) sued the NCAA (again the STATE NOT UND) thats when the settlement was made in 2007. Why blame UND?? There was no thought about leaving the NCC back then, no sanctions for the name, no scheduling problems. Ralph Engelstad died before the NCAA came out with that policy. Its sad you are too ignorant to see that its not Ralph's fault in this but the NCAA and its crooked policy. But whatelse would you expect from a Bison fan.

UND was already transitioning away from the nickname and logo after the November 30, 2010 deadline...remember that's how we got into the Big Sky. Then Bison Al comes into the picture and thinks of a law to screw the NCAA well it backfired and UND is paying the ultimate price. Blame Al not UND.

The SC couldn't do their job....so its our turn. We need to get the word out that in June people need to vote against the name. UND needs to put up billboards explaining the harm this does to our athletic program. VOTE NO FOR THE FIGHTING SIOUX NAME!! (as painful as it is to say that)

Its not even the change of jerseys or even the road playoff games that makes me mad...its what Dale Lennon said. We have lost recruits because of this, and now if we do stay on sanctions forever we will keep losing good recruits to other schools (NDSU, USD, SDSU).

If the NDSC is appointed by the govenor then he needs to step in and either demand the SC rule on it one way or another or get rid of them all together.

I think Faison is going to see what Jones can do the first year of the Big Sky and if we can't win the conference title or at least compete and end up in the cellar...then Jones should be fired. Let's just see what he can do with the BSC schedule and hopefully some more free throw practice.

If Lacrosse was in the picture I would say today...but UND can't be making any kind of money on the sport. Its a lost cause since the BSC doesn't sponsor it. Why don't they replace baseball with wrestling? I know they dropped it for title IX but isn't the BSC sponsoring softball so just replace baseball with wrestling.

UND didn't get a runner past second, and the runner only reached at second due to the batter getting hit by a pitch. No offense at all for both teams...great defense though.

I don't know how to measure attendance at UND baseball games but it was 361.
