What makes you think we couldn't beat CSU? Because we have zero wins against FBS opponents? So does South Dakota State, because we didn't win the BSC or make the playoffs our first time eligible? So did NDSU. Our defense may have been poor but our offense wasn't. We threw 600 against Montana, almost beat SDSU with our backup QB remember our starter got hurt against SD Mines. Yeah we got blown out against MSU and EWU but are you basing your dissmissal of UND football on that?

Just like SU beat Kansas, Minnesota and Central Michigan so they should be able to topple Alabama, KSU and other top 10 teams. See how fun this is.

Will this affect other sports. Could you imagine Kansas or even Minnesota not scheduling mid to lower teams in basketball. SOS seems to be everything, and a higher seed for the tournament means a good resume, not filled with Dakota teams. I hope this whole thing blows up in the B1G's face.

The WAC does indeed have an autobid, so as good as this tourny is now with UND winning...next season's WAC Tournamnet with the NCAA playoffs at the end of it makes it even better.

KFGO's Mike McFeeley is telling his listeners that Bison fans shouldn't get mad at the Forum or any media for being referred to as ex-NDSU players as that is their identity in Fargo. Just as if they went to the NFL they would be labeled as former NDSU players. Take the good with the bad.

You know KVLY or Dom Izzo or the Forum will be knocking on his door for a statement, or blame the football program for something like this.

Bohl is their role model, and if they break the law he needs to drop the hammer on them not tap their hand and give them a timeout. He is soft when it comes to a national title in the future and before you mention that one player Bohl kicked off the team this was about 15 players and some did this on the team. So maybe stricter punishment from both the court and the school would have maybe sunk into these idiots heads and take their sentence seriously.

Don't you see this puts another black eye on the football program's off-field problems? I know they are done with the team but still it looks bad, especially when the charges were announced to the public and both Both and Taylor (especially Taylor) cried out no suspensions. Also remember the players were most likely playing at the time of the crimes plus Bohl knew about the charges before it was announced to the press.

If the judge would have thrown them in jail then maybe they wouldn't have to worry about them skipping out on their sentence but since they are NDSU football players (don't want to piss off Bohl or Taylor) they get community service, and of course early bedtime as an NDSU punishment.

Sad thing is there are fans that agree with him. Anything for a national title. How about a comment from Gene Taylor on this? After all he was most vocal on not suspending these players at all (after all its not a sex or alcohol crime).
