What whining??? People on both fan bases want this game to happen it is NOT just UND fans.

NDSU moves to DI and both USD and UND cancel athletic play...how is that different? The fact that GT was quick to play USD while snubbing UND for the last 10 years makes him a tool.

Funny how its all UND did this and UND did that , how come your Bison faithful never rip on USD for not playing NDSU but yet GT was quick to play them while USD was in the GWFC.

I went on ticketmaster and there are still seats available but on the visitors side only the far endzone (probably the SDSU section) still has seats and on the home side its pretty sporadic with the endzones having the most tickets available my estimated guess about 1-2k remain.

I did get a kick out of him doing the push-ups. HGH was kicking in.

Wasn't the buyout from Idaho St like 10k or something ridiculous, he had to be the worst AD UND has ever had.

Faison hasn't bought out a game yet, plus its been done to UND twice since 2009 (Idaho St, Central Arkansas), I don't think he wants the rep like those teams.

Why are you picking and choosing? DI teams are DI teams, take away the Mines game then see what our ppg was.

2 years 2 buyouts...not a good track record. I think GT either won't schedule any home and homes or make the price one million for a buyout.

How much was Prairie View last year and how much was Ferris this year? Just saying if not that high pretty close to it, since you have to add inflation and more teams saying no to NDSU.

Its also on AGS started by a Bison fan, went about 4 or 5 pages before one single UND fan commented on it. I love the argument UND needs NDSU more than NDSU needs UND, and the game should ONLY be played in Fargo. Well how about this rebuttal on that....UND and NDSU's schedule is full in 2014, but 2015-2018 UND has 1 spot to fill per year so 4 spots for 4 years, NDSU has on average 2-3 spots empty per year so 8-12 spots for 4 years, and with teams backing out of home and homes on them, plus the price for a team coming to Fargo (remember Bison fans say the team CANNOT go on the road), I would think NDSU needs UND to fill that void without fear of a backout and without charging outrageous prices to come to Fargo. So when GT schedules another Ferris State or brings in Prairie View for 500,000 (prices do go up every year), lets see how long it takes him to give Faison a call to schedule a home and home.

If UND were to win by that much they deserve top 5 in the polls.

UND 35 SDSU 21 Stop Zenner and no turnovers for our offense and it will be like beating SDSU of old.

I only bring up polls since UND is not in one and even USD gets votes so UND is not a name so what's the best way to make a name for yourself...beat the big boys, and it starts with SDSU and finishes with EWU (NAU comes later). 4 games, 4 ranked teams, plus for each win the confidence factor in the team grows and grows. UND has a long history of winning even against tough opponents so its not impossible, but after this month (and first week in Oct) we can see if UND can do it.

I think UND deserves to be ranked in the top 10 if not top 5 if they beat the next 4 teams. (SDSU, UM, MSU, EWU) Plus attendance if that happens will skyrocket, and the word playoffs would be on everyones minds. That would be such a huge boost to this team, BUT one tree at a time to chop down.

Faison since turning down GT's offer was when we were in the GWFC since joining the BSC he saw the light and sent GT what he wanted every other year but just 2 years to get the ball rolling so just a home and home...Taylor never signed so obviously he doesn't want UND, would rather play Ferris St or Delaware and then bitch that everyone (including UND) is "scared" to go to Fargo. Guess what Taylor get over the 2003 incident, Faison wasn't there, Robert Kelley wasn't there and UND is NOT scared of NDSU.

True, I forgot about SDSU. Its like we are just that close, and hopefully next year we can get the first win over San Jose St.

UND had 3 chances of a FBS win (IMO)....Northern Illinois, Fresno State, and Idaho (where UND was up at halftime). Still only NDSU and USD are the only Dakota teams with FBS wins and like you said a win against ANY FBS school is a good win. I see the NDSU-KSU game like UND-Texas Tech, Tech was down as they lost their superstars but still had a decent 2009 season (9-4 with a Bowl win), KSU can still have a good season but not like the one last season (11-2).

Is their QB a scrambler or pocket passer? Also when you say not that reliable passing game is it the passer or the receivers that aren't that good.

We did give them credit too bad it went to their heads and shrunk their brains with the we are BCS material talk.
