If the hockey team hasn't reached the playoffs since 2007 I think some fans may bail early, especially if the team is getting crushed 5-0 or 6-0 by period 2 which is what Montana did to us, the REA would be getting empty.

NDSU's first losing season in how long, Muss has had 2 in the last 3 years. Big difference. SU had a successful transition, we lost to Sioux Falls. SU went 6-5 and 3-8 in their first 2 years in the MVFC then made the playoffs in year three, is UND going to the playoffs next season, highly doubt it with this crappy defense and worthless coaching by Muss. I don't think we need to compare NDSU football to our football team, that itself is laughable.

One thing about Hakstol is he took a hockey program that was up there from Blais and kept it flying high. He puts UND in sight of a NC by getting to the frozen four, Mussman took a UND team fresh of a playoff run from Lennon and has brought 2 losing seasons in his 5 full years of coaching and this teams looks like crap. Attendance is going to suck, the fanbase is going to get worse if we keep Muss and continue to be a near .500 team. 19 DI wins in 5+ years of coaching is not what I want to see.

We aren't jealous of NDSU we want muss fired because our team hasn't been this consistantly bad since the 1980's when RT had to rescue the team from destruction that was the Pat Behrns era. muss hasn't beaten more than 5 DI teams in a season he has coached for 5 years and 1 month into this season. It took Thomas 8 to reach 10 wins, do you see UND getting 10 wins by 2015? Not with Mussman.

So what would everyone's opinion be if we: A. Beat MSU, @ISU, but get wasted at home vs EWU? B. beat MSU, @ ISU but lose a close one to EWU C. Blown out by both MSU, EWU, but beat ISU D. Beaten by all 3 no matter if its close or not E. Beat all 3 and be 3-0 in the BSC. I say in scenario A and B let the season play out whether to fire Muss; scenario C and D fire Muss after the EWU game, and scenario E Muss keeps his job for another year.

ESPN says its comical that fans are bitching about the location they only do 2 or 3 shows a year at the stadiums. Why can't fans be happy it's coming here.

I was a joke after he didn't want UND to move up when the SU's did, he wouldn't be a popular choice.

RT improved the team almost every year, where Mussman is average to below average every year. Fire him, remember 2007 Dale Lennon coached a DII team that beat FCS Southern Utah plus made the playoffs, Mussman lost to DII Sioux Falls, and has beaten ONE ranked team (Cal Poly 2009). Where is my paper bag, this guy is like Pat Behrns 2.0, this is my emotional rant for the night.
