Only 2 opponents scored less than 16 points last year, Portland State and Valpo. UND's BSC opponents (including UM which was an OOC opponent) scored: 55, 63, 25, 35, 31, 14, 48, 21, and 34. Now thats with our bad Muss-led defense. Maybe those scores will be lower this year, but that offense needs to get something, anything going.

If UND's offense can't move the ball they won't win in the BSC. Our defense can only hold on for so long before they break (ex. Missouri State game).

The three points given up by our defense is the lowest since we beat UC Davis 14-7 in 2011. I think our defense is headed in the right direction. It's the offense that needs work.

No it isn't. Players improve or get worse during the offseason. This year is not a measuring year of how next year will go. A lot of variables happen between now and the game next year, with injuries, transfers, recruits, suspensions. Everyone can look at now and say the Bisons will blow us out, but when the game is a week away it may tell a different story. Plus one more variable to consider. Teams get up for Super Bowls (NDSU volleyball this year vs UND).
