Hakstol has been to the championship game multiple times, Jones hasn't won a CIT game. Hak's teams travel to Michigan and Boston and Wisconsin for an OOC road game and win, Jones has only 6 of those against lower quality teams. Hak can beat ranked teams, Jones can't. At least with Hak you can almost guarantee a spot in the NCAA tournament, with Jones you pray his team can make the CIT.

What are Montana, MSU, and WSU's signature wins and OOC road record the last 6 years? I can almost guarantee they have beaten some tough opponents (ranked probably) and they must have a better OOC road win mark greater than 6!!

So you are dismissing what happens 3/4 of the season as long as they get hot at the end. I hope you didn't forget the conference championship entry just got tougher as Idaho is in the mix which means another school that could make it over us. How about looking at the whole season and not just the last month or two and pray for a hot streak. If Jones can't beat TX-PA what makes you think we will climb over EWU or WSU.

Some people made it that way on others with different opinions. I started this thread after hearing about his lack of coaching skills and him being fired in other game threads. So to make it simple I created this thread to lump that here, and some people use that against me. Saying everything from me being a fan of firing coaches, to even questioning my loyalty as a UND fan (wishing they would lose). All because I think UND deserves better and would like to see this program reach new heights by beating a ranked team, beating OOC teams consistently on the road, winning the conference, going to the dance. Everyone has a right to his/her opinion on the next step for UND basketball, but it seems there are others who would love nothing but silence those who disagree with them.

Just a thought...what if UND loses to Dickinson St? Fire him after the game, after the season or see what happens next season? I am not hoping by any means UND loses but UMC lost to NDSU by 1, we lost by almost 30.

Now picture that at a football or basketball game.

I thought the same thing...the only road playoff games for NDSU was MSU and EWU. Frisco is not a home game for anyone.
