This discussion I find to be a common tactic these days with people on one side trying to have a factual discussion, while people on the other side want to manipulate the facts because two things are related. Just because the 3/5 compromise is associated with the electoral college doesn't make the electoral college inherently racist. Things always need to be looked at in the context of their time period. As disgusting as it is to me that a human being would only be allowed to be considered 3/5 of a human, before that for voting purposes they weren't considered a human at all.

I can’t say I agree with this based on my experience. Immigrants who came here legally tend to be the biggest opponents to illegal immigrants.

I think two things are likely true with Chauvin and George Floyd. 1. Chauvin has zero business laying on his neck for that long, he needs to be held accountable for his actions, whatever the lawyers decide he deserves is ok with me. 2. George Floyd would likely still be alive if he didn’t also have the fentanyl in his system and then get subjected to the Chauvins knee. Both things played a role in his death I believe and that in no way is me defending Chauvin.

Your perspective on police is disturbing. Firefighters, heroes in their own right, don’t have 1/10th the danger and criticism on the job that police do. Firefighters show up and fight a faceless, nameless enemy that has zero grey area. Everyone agrees fires are bad and needs to be dealt with. Police do not.

The CDC has become a parody of itself. This organization is supposedly the authority on infectious disease for the entire human race and they can't even decide if masks and/or tests should be done.(Depending on the month) The American people have lost trust in anything the CDC says and it's showing.
